Cost way too much for a tiny room. The only good thing about the room was that it was clean. They don't have parking and you have to pay for a parking spot. It is on a party street, which if fine if you don't want to sleep. They don't have any amenities. It's more like a very expensive hostel.

I normally don't mind shady, cheap and loud hotel rooms where the windows don't work. However, rude staff that refuse to acknowledge and address bed bugs is not something I'm willing to pay for. There are fake reviews on this hotel that say "there are no bed bugs." Buyers beware. Spend the extra 20 dollars and stay at Hotel Majestic.... More

Dear Sarah F, The resurgence of bed bugs over the last few years is a widely-recognized problem. This problem has affected not only the hotel industry, but hospitals, college dormitories, private homes and multiple dwellings, as well as department stores and movie theaters. We can assure you that proactive inspections are being performed by our housekeeping teams on a daily... More

We stayed there for a night during our visit to Montreal. The hotel is in great location. .near to lot many attractions. .you can just walk down to many point of attractions. You have a small cafe at the entrance here..The only problem I found was the size of the room..They are too small..But bed was good..bathroom and room was... More

Dear Neha1710, Thank you again for staying with us at Hotel Villa and for your 3 star review of our conveniently located property. We indeed have small, European style rooms, which our thrifty business travelers appreciate for their reduced rates all year long, but we also offer more spacious rooms, with 2 double beds, that often available for a small... What you get on the website compared to what you get in real is miles apart. We were stuck at the top of the hotel which is basically a building site. I had to climb over plasterboard to get to the most disgusting shared bathroom I have ever seen. The photos for this hotel are very cleverly done, because he... More

No hot water. The drawers were broken. The bathrooms had a really bad odor. There was too much noise of the elvator over night. Yes the hotel was cheap but not worth it. However the service by the employees was nice.

Three sets of couples stayed here for one night in October 2014. We were going to the hockey game and going out after. Check in was not too bad although slow. Two of three rooms were ready. Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

    Neighborhood Profile
    Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
