No choice of room if you have lots of luggage prepare yourself to carry all upstairs..all rooms are located upstairs. Not very good breakfast. But very close to shopping areas in St. Catherine. Not very satisfied. Not worth the price.

First off the only good thing about this hotel is location, the rooms were never cleaned, a strange man tried to follow me to my room pretending to be a hotel employee and the actual hotel staff did nothing to stop this, the phones in the room do not work. When I tried to call after my stay and speak... More

We saw three rooms in this hotel, ranging from a hot, dirty conservatory to a small dirty room with no bath linens and did not stay in any of them. The carpets are filthy and worn, the hotel is a rabbit warren with electric cables exposed running along corridors and there was a very unpleasant smell. It should be condemned.... More

This room had a quaint feel about it so for one night it was great, clean, and cute. But there is no desk and no fridge, so a longer stay might prove a little difficult. The staff is nice. I worked past the end of the free breakfast but when I finally got there, they brought me coffee and muffin... More

Stay 3 night in the hotel located in downtown. Several very good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is free with bread and drink available. The room is small with 19" TV. Wifi id free but signal is pretty much weak and slow. Do NOT use the parking beside the hotel. My car was broken during the 1st night.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of June, 2015. The good: I will start by saying that for the price you won't find a better location. Additionally the check in staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was decent (nothing special but enough to get your on your way).... More

We booked a single deluxe room with 2 beds and space for a cot. it was advertised as being able to hold 5 people. When we arrived in the early morning we were essentially turned away untl 4pm when the checkin time was scheduled. There was nowhere in the hotel that we could stay and ultimately had to wander montreal... More

I drove 4 hours to Montreal and when I arrived at Hotel A2K they informed me that my reservation had been cancelled. They sent an email one hour before my check-in to let me know not to come. After I complained they said the lobby was for customers only.

We booked this hotel for the F1 race weekend when hotels were scarce. A hotel that might have looked a bit rough in places was an absolute jewel. Staff were so friendly and accomodating and the really important stuff like water pressure and temperature and uninterrupted wifi was flawless. Our room was fresh, clean and had the most amazingly comfortable... More

Our room was at the 3rd level with no elevators and the stairs were awful to talk. The bed sheets were covered with hair, the sheets were not clean at all. the hotel was not clean at all. I could get a better breakfast at McDonald with way less price or anywhere else. The dirt and dust was everywhere. On... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
