The Alexandre Logan was a wonderful place to stay. Alain was a terrific host, and the staff was pleasant. We stayed in no. 6, the only guest room on the first floor. The room and accompanying bathroom were recently renovated, so everything was fresh and clean. Especially the bathroom. You know how sometimes you don't especially relish the thought of... More

After all the years of talking about it, we finally visited Montreal at the end of August. We were coming from the US and our GPS didn't work in Canada so we got really lost. By the time we reached Alexandre Logan, we were beyond tired. Once we stepped over the threshold of the inn, however, we were set. Our... More

In a nice brick house, the b&b was a memorable start for our Canadian trip. The owner provided us with very useful information and plus his breakfast was excellent, tasteful and prepared with much attention. The room was spacious and calm, there even was a microwave and some kusmi tea at our disposal. Thanks ! More

Right in the heart of The Village, and just blocks from Parc La Fontaine, Beaudry metro, and the Quartier Latin, Alexandre Logan is a wonderful choice for Montreal accommodations. Owner, Alain Pigeon, has beautifully restored the home, which currently offers 6 spacious and tastefully decorated rooms for guests. Room 3 is my favorite, a junior suite, with direct access to... Our daughter booked this as a place for the four of us (her mother and husband included) to stay for a short break in Montreal. A good central location in the "Village" area only a short walk in to the city centre, though some of the shops along the way are a little run down, well served by the local... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Alexandre Logan very much! They layout of the B&B was so comfortable. The rooms were spacious and relaxing! We enjoyed the outside terraces everyday since the weather was sunny & warm during our stay. Alain introduced us to Montreal with his short orientation after arriving....this was so helpful as we were able to use... More

Other reviews have covered much of what I would say about our stay at the Alexandre Logan. We spent four nights there and enjoyed our stay very much. Our host, Alain, was most congenial and he and his staff did everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The "breakfast" part of the B & B experience was excellent; every meal was... More

We stayed here for 6 nights as part of a tour of this part of Canada. The owner is a charming and approachable host. On arrival, he gave us a tour of our room and the house and gave us a map of the city, explaining the location and places of interest. We had room 2, which was excellent. A... More

Perfect location central to attractions and points of interest in Montreal. Our host, Alain, greeted us and promptly situated us with information, maps, restaurant recommendations, and activities. He also helped us with the car and bike parking throughout our trip. The room was very comfortable with an en suite bath and terrace. We used the outdoor shower twice which was... More

Well above and beyond our expectations. I cannot imagine why you would stay in a large, generic hotel when you can get so much more (at a better price, I might add) at this wonderful B&B. Very comfortable beds, beautiful décor, amazing breakfasts! We will 100% stay here again on our next trip to Montreal. More
