I am struggling for appropriate words to describe this place. Despite the overall negative experience I had there, there are some positives that it would be unfair not to mention. Positives: Very friendly, very well situated, helpful in accessing community resources, and has a rooftop patio. That being said... ohhh, the negatives. It's a nice place. An old building, something very normal in Montreal. it's a hotel with rooms with average price of CAD$ 60 and a dortoir (hostel) on the first floor with rooms as CAD$ 21. I stayed in this hostel/B&B recently with a friend of mine and found it to be OK but I don't think I would personally choose to stay there again.
