Just got back from a Montreal stay last night. Spent 4 nights at this hotel and it was well worth it. You are only 5-10 minutes walk from Old Montreal and the Old Port. The location is definitely one of the strong suits. We also enjoyed the free continental breakfast with fresh everything. Muffins, croissants, gables, sliced bread, banana bread,... More

My daughter and I spent 5 nights at Hotel Dauphin while touring the sights of Montreal. Rooms are modern and clean, breakfast is included and offers good variety, and it is just a few blocks from the heart of Old Montreal. There is a great coffee shop across the street - Capucine - latte under $3.00 and plenty of fresh... More

Extremely pleased with this hotel. -Check in: Quick and painless. -Room: Looks brand new. Bed is comfortable. Big fridge. Mac was there, but didn't get a chance to use it. WiFi was complementary and good strength. -Bathroom: Clean and modern. -Breakfast: I was expecting a "meh" continental breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised. Eggs, milk, yogurt for protein. Bagels and croissants... More

Modern, very clean, good value. Convenient location to see Old Montreal and most tourist destinations. Right next to convention center which was quiet during our visit as there were no exhibits. Decent breakfast buffet. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I were in town for one night and decided to stay here, it was a great stay. I think it's better than Hilton or Marriott. They have a BIG room with a couch and a TV in front of it, a desk with a brand new Apple computer wich is connected to the second tv in front... More

I spent 5 nights at the Dauphin Hotel in late July while attending a conference at the Palais Des Congress. The location if you are attending a conference cant be beat, its just a 2 min. walk to the Palais, 10 min to Old Montreal, and a short walk up to St. Catherines. The hotel is boutique with less than... More

I chose this hotel based on TA reviews, and was not disappointed. It's probably the cleanest, and one of the nicest I've ever stayed at. Check in went smoothly, and rooms have wood floors, vs. carpet which was nice. A nice size fridge and a room safe was in room. There were plenty of towels, and great bath products. A... More

This is our 3rd visit to Montreal and we usually stayed in the financial district. This time I wanted something close to Old Montreal and this hotel's location fit nicely. It is about 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame and 12 minutes from Jean Cartier square. The room was well equipped and well lit. The bed was one of the... More

My husband and I loved this hotel. Located between downtown and old Montreal, we discovered so much by walking. The hotel itself was wonderful. The room was clean, lovely with a simple and beautiful bathroom. Clean linens and comfortable beds. Apple Computer, small refrigerator and two comfortable chairs. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. Short term parking... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of our 60 day travels to North America May to July 2014. We picked this hotel because of its location and we were't disappointed. Check-in was quick and easy. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
