My travel experiences break down into two parts: business and pleasure. When I travel business, I stay at the Ritz and the W....all nice and no surprises, paid for by my clients. When my wife and I travel for pleasure, we look for value, boutique and quality. When we planned our trip to Montreal, we did some research, including on... More

We were upgraded by the welcoming owner to a Suite, 302 on the top floor with a large terrace. Good use of space throughout although the large bathroom could use more storage and there was certainly room for something to be added. Spacious shower (rainhead AND hand held), great water pressure and large bath SHEETS which more than compensated for... More

Small and Intimate with only about 7 rooms. Excellent Location, close to Metro (Berri Uqam) very, very pleasant staff. My wife and I resided there for our anniversary and we loved everything about the hotel. The balcony was a neat offering. Very spacious room. THE SHOWER WAS EXCELLENT! Modern Contemporary design very clean and comfortable. We loved the trail soaps... More

I used TA to find this hotel situated in the vibrant Latin Quarter close-by to the old town. We were not disappointed. Arriving late from the airport, we were greeted warmly and shown to a spacious suite on the first floor - it was worth lugging those cases up the stairs! Plenty of room, efficient, hot and spacious shower, well... More

Really liked Le Relais. It is an unpretentious hotel situated in the buzzy (but room quiet) Rue St Denis & close to the Berri UQAM Metro (we bought a good value 3-day pass for $18 which got us everywhere). The extremely cheerful & pleasant owner Albert nicely upgraded our room which had a coffee machine & really excellent shower. For... More

We only stayed in Montreal for one night to break up the drive, so we stayed at the Le Relais Lyonnais. The hotel itself was great; we were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious, clean and well appointed. The hotel is near lots of restaurants etc. Montreal however did not grab me, the city felt a little sad... More

Stayed here on a quick trip to Montreal. Stayed in rm. 201 the suite, just like the pictures. Great hot shower with rain head, very nice finishes in room. Little espresso machine in each room that made a great cup of coffee. Best part of the stay was Albert the owner he couldn't do enough for us, made for a... More

My best friend and I were to stay at this hotel from Friday to Sunday, but when we arrived there was a problem with the room, in this case, there was no room for us after booking it way in advance. It was explained to us because my friends card had expired, the room was let go. No communication was... More

We stayed here with my sister and brother-in-law for four nights. We found the hotel quaint and very comfortable. The room was good and the shower was first class. The downstairs bistro was great for breakfast and we also had dinner there. The hotel is in a trendy (somewhat noisy) area close to a metro station. Albert, the owner was... More
