This is a tough review for me to write as this is hotel was not my choice to stay at. We booked a hotel in downtown Montreal for the August long weekend through a well recognized internet booking service (not Trip Advisor). Upon arrival we discovered that that our reservation booked 5 months ago and confirmed was not available. Instead... More

Didn't clean our rooms. No breakfast on one day. Next to the petroleum plant. Hallways smelled bad. The price is why we booked it for 2 nights. Would not recommend it to anyone. Staff were pleasant though.

I have two small kids and they put us in a room close to the party room where they have noise until 1am in the morning. I complained many times and they said they will talk to the party guests but it only stopped at 1am which started at about 8pm. The room smelled of cigarette smoke even if I... More

Well, this is my second review of the Hotel Le Prestige. I returned to this hotel because the price was right, and I was curious if the hotel had made some of the changes / listened to some of the suggestions made in my first review "A Lot to Like... But..." If you are planning a stay at this hotel,... More

Not even a roadie, unholy, slipped on some algae, not even maybe, hotel must be over sixty, tile gritty, avocado green trippy, an oldie not a goodie, you feel me Woody? I travel to Montreal a lot, so I think I have earned my "Honorary Montreal-er" designation. As you know by now (I hope) you need a passport, or some other document allowing egress and entrance through the borders. Don't forget to check your state drivers license... some states issue a compliant license so all you need is that. Sometimes you... More

We were driving through the city and looking for a place to stay for one night. We wanted good value and were okay being outside of the downtown core. Hotel Le Prestige was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant next door offered excellent Italian food. We would definitely choose the... More

This hotel is totally unsafe. The lock to their room doors do not work. Someone was able to access the room in the middle of the night. Beware of being rob of your belongs. Although it is rated a 3 star- it is in fact barely a 1-star rating. I booked this through hotel.com and they are completely useless in... More

English speaking staff. Good size rooms and very clean. Much better than most budget priced hotels. On the down side, no microwave in the room and the breakfast was kind of pathetic. Also, not super close to town but we had a car so no big deal. Would stay here again.

East side of Montreal good for a pit stop one night or four hours( if you require such a short stay) Not close to downtown but easy access to highways and shops and transit. Hotel is quite large with ample parking and enough rooms to seperate us from other guests staying at the hotel as well. Hotel staff nice and... More
