As other reviewers have stated, this is a beautiful, well-kept & appointed B&B. For first time B&B'ers...Le Terra Nostra certainly set the bar very high for any other B&B we may visit. We visited for a getaway over the US Thanksgiving holiday (late November). Rooms - We stayed in the Afrika room, which is warm, beautifully decorated, and has as... more

I spent 10 nights in the Terra Nostra and I enjoyed every minute of my stay. I loved the bedrooms so comfortable, clean, and so tastefully decorated. I appreciated the convenient location of the place, close to the city center and yet in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the banks of the St-Laurent River. The hostess is very... more

Le Terra Nostra is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Montreal. Hostess Mimi Lauzon will help you find any attractions in the region, sitting down to help you plan your itinerary. Her breakfasts are unique and delicious, her rooms stylish, roomy, comfortable, and quiet. The location in Verdun works better than you might think because there are many... more

The way a good place to stay ought to be. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise daily. Guests were well-behaved and quiet. The innkeeper was accommodating, helpful and friendly. We would visit again. Our room was so carefully planned and thought out to follow a theme. Wonderful!!! more

We had a great time at Le Terra Nostra. Mireille, the owner, is a wonderful host and the breakfast she serves is a true event and the first highlight of the day!! The rooms are beautifully decorated and just amazing. Mireille really made us feel like staying with friends. We absolutely recommend this place! more

La Terra Nostra Bed and Breakfast Montreal Canada This was a fabulous retreat. The host was extremely helpful in every way i.e. advice on how to get around, where to go, best restaurants, special attention to dietary needs as a magnificent cook, free bicycles while there etc., etc.,. The place was impeccably kept and decorated, we stayed in 'Tha Asian... more

The owner made us feel very welcome. Provided us with maps, attraction and local advice, and a great homemade breakfast. Parking was easy, B&B is close enough to the Metro stop to walk, but still far enough away to be in a quiet Montreal neighborhood. The rooms are incredibly decorated in a modern style. No flower wall paper here. I... more

Le Terra Nostra is located in Verdun, minutes from the river. Of all the neighborhoods we explored (Plateau, Old City, Chinatown, Atwater, etc.) this was the most interesting. The Old City had beautiful architecture and quaint boutiques but these seemed mainly geared toward tourists. Plateau was young and hip but like downtown there was a Gap on every corner and... more

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at this beautiful B & B. The decor was tasteful and exquisite and the host, Mireille, was just lovely. It is obvious that a lot of thought was put into the design of each room (we stayed in two of the three available). The overall home was artistic and warm. I wish we... more

If you like interior design and a private atmosphere this is the place for you to stay. Every detail is affectionately selected and decorated. Rooms are very clean and calm. Since many years I come here twice a year. Only ten minutes by car to downtown Montréal even during rush hours because you don't use the main streets but instead... more
