We have stayed several nights and love the free breakfast and kitchenettes in the rooms. Great location and free wifi, clean and late checkout, what more could you ask for? We are staying again this weekend for Igloofest! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Right around the corner from a record shop and in St Denis, so there... More

I just completed a six night stay at this place and thoroughly enjoyed it. As others have mentioned, the Hotel is ideally located on St Denis, which makes the entire city accessible to you. I stayed in a comfort room which included a tv, microwave, coffee pot, small fridge, cutlery. The first day there, I went out and purchased some... More

I stayed here in November 2015 for one night, and I didn't want to leave! The front desk staff was nice and friendly, the room was like a small apartment. It had a double bed, wifi, cable tv, desk, little kitchen equiped with microwave, mini fridge, and sink, as well as some cutlery, and it had a small bathroom with... More

Tucked in the heart of Montreal's Latin Quarter, For travellers with passion for economy and excellence. Compact clean European-style accommodation, efficient and polite staff. Initially suspicious at such a low price I was amazed to discover breakfast was included. The location is superb, 3 blocks to inexpensive underground parking and 4 blocks to the Metro. Add a 3 day transit... More

For those who enjoy having a good time, the hotel is excellently located, close to everything. Bonus is it is clean (although the private bathroom is a little small), and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast is also good. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff is really inept and can barely speak either French or English. Breakfast is acceptable but very small. Rooms are cheaply furnished a la student dorm. Parking arrangemens are ridicolous For what they charge, don't bother. Go somewhere else.

Room was clean and very quiet. A fairly good breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and gave us items for breakfast the night before when we had to leave prior to breakfast time on our last day at the hotel. However a bath mat and a tea towel in the room would have completed the package.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
