Nathalie and Robert are lovely hosts and I can't say enough about Nathalie's amazing breakfasts! The marriage of flavours she creates are delicious, bread puddings, an amazing fratata with a hot sauce and a clafoutis with a cardamom syrup! The jams were incredible, I bought 5 jars to take home. The room my daughter and I had was lovely, first... More

A wonderful experience! Natalie and Robert provide a very warm, welcoming and clean home for your Montreal stay. This is a very special place in a great central location. You can experience all of the different parts of the city quite easily from here. Natalie prepares wonderful breakfasts each morning. She is happy to provide "concierge" services ie restaurant and... We stayed a few days at Nathalie & Roberts B&B in Montreal - just over the F1 race weekend. They have a very nice little House which is located very convenient to the Metro Station Berri UQuam. Due to their kind hospitality, the wonderful breakfast ( a 5 Star hotel could not do better) and the pleasant atmosphere there, we... More

My friends and I went to Montreal for a two nights and three day road trip. Location: This is a perfect location for us. There is free parking on the street. Robert used his car to save a parking spot for us, so we don't have drive around looking for parking. Once we settled in, we were able to walk... More

This charming B&B deserves all the accolades you read here. Natalie and Robert are keeping up the great service and the fabulous breakfasts. The location is terrific; walking distance to many local restaurants and fun neighborhoods. The metro is just down the block. Natalie is a great cook and a real foodie. She steered us to some fantastic local restaurants... More

We have had some wonderful meals on our road trip through the Adirondacks and into Canada. None have surpassed the 3 breakfasts we experienced at this delightful B&B! We enjoyed this charming, comfortable, clean and convenient auberge from September 11-14. From the moment our hosts, Nathalie and Robert greeted us, we felt we were at home. They had saved us... We got upgraded because they had the room and because we were staying for a few nights. The room was clean, nicely decorated, had heating, air-conditioning, a TV, a microwave and cutlery. Everything you might need. Nathalie has had culinary classes (as we could see from the certificates hanging up) and she makes amazing and different breakfasts everyday. Great location... More

Stayed at this charming "city" B&B primarily to attend the 3 day Oshaga festival with my wife and 3 teens. We shared 2 rooms and stayed 4 nights. Centrally located, 1 block from the metro Hub which provided access to all of Montreal and walking distance to wonderful neighborhoods. We were able to walk too and explore, old montreal, the... We stayed in this bed and breakfast for two nights with our teenaged daughter and a few days later we stayed one night without her, so we have two different rooms to evaluate. Both times we had a very warm welcome from Nathalie, who accompanied us twice to look for the perfect parking place in front of the door. We... More

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighborhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomized by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
