We travel to Montreal from Washington, DC nearly every May to kick off our summer--it's just become the thing for us to do! Generally we would stay in places like the:
Lowes--very nice
Ritz--very nice
Delta--this is where we stayed the first time we went--nice enough hotel for the money; Marriott class hotel. (and there are 2 different Delta Hotels--this one is nicer than the other)
Queen Elizabeth--very nice (best brunch in Montreal)
InterContinental--would not stay there again
Since I had never stayed in a B&B before, I started looking around to see what I could come up with. Apparts De Veiux is what I finally settled upon. By and large they did not dissappoint; and for the money which was similar to the hotels I named above, I felt like we got a lot more. We were able to rent a "studio type" appartment (they have different configurations) which I would guess was about 900sq. We had a kitchen nook, kings size bed, large sitting area...
