booked 3 rooms with my friends for New Year's Eve at Hotel Dorion in Montreal. The prices I booked for were for 80$ +tx for the 2 with spa bath and 75$ +tx for the basic room. We stayed there over Labor Day weekend and were completely grossed out by the rooms and the horrible staff , yes I mean you Raymond. The lightbulbs were missing , stains on he bathroom walls , carpet was stained , the towels must have been washed 10000 times over the course of 30 years and never replaced as they were... More

a 3 story walk up with clean rooms A/C, not fancy but cheap at $75.00 per night. 3rd floor suggested , over a club with music, which you might hear on 2nd floor. across from Papineau Metro station and close to gay village on St Catherine. close to transit.

My partner and I stayed here during Pride Montreal. It was less than two blocks from the Village. The staff was very cordial. The rooms were clean. Also it was less than a block from a grocery store. Its a gay dirty place, prostitutes running around, the place smells very bad, its a disgrace, there is no sign of a jacuzzi or a whirlpool.... I have stayed at the Dorion more than 20 times over the last 10 years or so and I keep coming back, indeed wouldn't go anywhere else in the area of the Village.
