I found the Hotel 10 for a last minute trip during Spring/March break week (with a city full of student visitors). The price was right and the location very good. Sherbrooke is right on a major bus route and a few blocks uphill from a metro stop. The hotel was clean, the bathroom had a great shower. The room looked... More

We requested and received adjoining rooms. Staff were very attentive. Rooms were clean, modern and fully stocked. Cleaning staff were friendly. We asked for robes and got them delivered. Location was within walking distance to the downtown area and many restaurants. There is a breakfast restaurant with a basic buffet and eggs made to order. There is an adjoining nightclub... More

I stayed here a few weeks back for 5 days and was visiting for business from the US with a group of 4. The hotel was clean, the staff were great, fluent in English, and very attentive. Stephanie at the front desk was great, anything we needed she was always there to help. Do not miss the breakfast! Dennis works... More

This hotel is nicely situated mid-way between the business district and city shopping and the Old Montreal. The latter is just 15 mins walk down hill towards the river. There is a taxi stand outside the door and for the more energetic the town bikes can be hired just opposite (behind the garage) This hotel works for either business or... More

On the negative side, the buffet breakfast was pricey for what it offers, the service in the restaurant was shoddy, the lobby elevator in our floor was dirty. The restaurant was not tidy and clean. On the positive side, the front desk was helpful, the hotel was ideally located, the contractor doing maintenance work was not tidy. The hotel has... More

Hotel 10 is on the corner of St Laurent and Sherbrooke and was a perfect location, close to shopping on Ste Catherine, and located a few blocks from Place des Arts. The hotel has a complimentary car service that will take you within 5 km - so it's a quick trip to the top of Mont Royal or down to... More

I just got back from Montreal with a group of Friends. We stayed at Hotel 10 for two nights. The room was nice and the bed was super comfortable (Sealy Posturepedic) . The location was close to bars and restaurants. There was easy access to taxis as well when needed. The hotel also had a courtesy car, which drove us... More

I was in Montreal for the film festival and found the hotel to be pleasant, good service, great location you could walk to everything and a nice breakfast. I slept well, it was quiet and the rooms were large and quiet.

The bed was beyond comfortable and massive! The room was so spacious, plenty of channels on the big flat screen TV. The location was good too. There's a taxi stand so close you can just hail a cab whenever you want. The staff are polite too.

What a great stay at Hotel 10. I liked the room decor, a bit more contemporary than the norm and that felt great, great fluffy towels, bathrobe. Nice tones. They have a courtesy car. What an amazing concept! Used it a number of times to get to places just a bIt too far to walk. I'd rather tip to the... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
