Stayed here for a week whilst in town for work. Firstly, the hotel has a nightclub on the ground floor which my room overlooked....fine if you want to party but not so fine when you have to be up early for work. The rooms was also very tired, doors on my wardrobe didn't close and drawers would slide open a... More

Reserved the hotel through Priceline so did not know what we were getting into. Turned out to be a pleasant experience. Stayed for two nights and the rooms and bathrooms are very well done, stylish but comfortable. Loved the Spa Products!!! Downside is everything extra is quite expensive - bottle of water is CAD 7, breakfast buffet is also expensive... More

We've been staying at this hotel for years, both for business and pleasure. Its location (Le Plateau) is perfect for us. Close to some of our favorite restaurants and also near many of the festival areas for music, etc. We've found the staff in particular to be incredibly accommodating to us, and so personable, that we really look forward to... We stayed for 5 nights in July when our kids were off at sleep-away camp. This was the perfect hotel for us and we will definitely return! We wanted a comfortable and quiet bed in a room that was artful, spacious and walking distance to fun activities and tasty restaurants. We wanted trendy without loud or drunk guests. After researching... More

I got the reservation via the secret hotels in hotwire. After I paid and got the result went to Tripadvisor website and was disappointed about the deal, nothing to do, once you click is over. It was only one night so I did not worry that much. I traveled with my wife and 2 kids and were really pleased with... More

We stayed here the first week of July. I was happy with the overall accommodations, and the cleanliness of the properly. The decor is modern and the hotel has a very young electric vibe. I will say please DO believe what other reviewers have documented. It gets super duper loud when the nightclub is open. There is a nightclub on... More

I had been warned previous to arriving that it has the potential to be a super loud hotel & to aim for a higher level room. When we checked in & we were on the first floor - I knew it was gunna be trouble. There were a few bachelorette parties on our floor & they were definitely having a... More

Personally I hate to stay in the center of any Downtown area and find being in or close to a neighborhood far more appealing. The location of Hotel 10 is good compromise. Its on the very edge of Downtown (10 minutes walk ) and "The Plateau" which abounds with Restaurants /Cafes and Coffee Shops. Take Boulevard St Laurent 'uphill' and... More

We stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend. When we booked it through hotels.com, we did not receive any notification that the hotel is under construction and its restaurant is currently closed (except for breakfast). We would not have selected this hotel if we had known that there was no bar/restaurant. Moreover, the maid service was terrible.... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
