Incredible rooms (vast, luxurious), decent food (although it seems that the cook hasn't heard of salt, ever), very modern and almost sterile decorations, even art with swear words on the walls(!)...all in all a very different hotel. It is pricey but worth the experience.

We stayed at W MTL for one evening. Its decor is like all other W's. modern, clean lines with low lighting. Our Washroom had the glass shower window looking out at the room which is nice and sexy. The MTL lounge at the bottom of the hotel is pretty happening. Very pricey but expected. This hotel is pretty much in the... More

We spent one night here and I wish it could have been a longer visit. The room was not only clean and well appointed, but also had a great art deco flair. And the bed was so comfortable! The staff was all very helpful -- one person even pulled out a map and highlighted the best route for the next... More

We live in Montreal and I choose this hotel for a gateway week-end in downtown Montreal. Nicely decorated but little dark inside hotel but well located I recommended this hotel if you like urban live style.

This is such a great hotel! The staff is so accommodating - anything you want, anytime you want it, they will get it. And then they don't even want a tip. In fact, they won't take a tip. They upgraded me to a suite and it was wonderful. The room had a spacious with a lounge area, full mini-bar, and... More

The new renovation is incredible! The rooms have received a much needed face lift with a very modern feel. In comparison to the old design, the rooms are much brighter. From open concept bathrooms which provide city views while enjoying a soaking tub or a a large glass shower. To my favorite feature of the new design being the spacious... More

I came to the W just like every other year for my birthday, and I was amazed at the way I was treated by the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, professional and they all made the night splendid. I got upgraded to a bigger suite, and had tons of surprises from the hotel. Thank you for everything, I cannot say... More

I travel often to Montreal for business and always stay at the W. It is trendy, modern, and the guest rooms are always very comfortable and well-equipped. I always receive exceptional service from the front-desk and concierge staff and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues. The lobby bar has a great selection, and turns into a... Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
