When I arrived to Montreal, Auberge Bishop wasn't my first choice but what really convinced me was its great location...it's pretty close to train station, subaway station all kind of shops and bars and pubs. It's a cozy and clean place. The bathrooms were clean enough. The staff is awesome...In my case it was convenient that one of them speak... More

It's a comfortable little auberge to stay, very clean, friendly and well located. Just a few blocks from Rue St. Catherines. If I go back to Montreal, and of course I will, for sure I will stay here!!

This hostel has the best location in Montreal! It is located in the heart of Downtown Montreal's bar and pub district and is walking distance from everything you need. The atmosphere is small and cozy and the building is beautiful and historic. However, I could not complete my entire stay here because it was extremely dirty when I was there.... More

This hostel is great! We stayed here mainly because it was the cheapest we could find, but it was great! Perfectly located close to the train station, but everything was walking distance anyway! Breakfast was great - and included! And was clean!! The staff members were super helpful and friendly! We really enjoyed our time here :)) Only suggestion would... More

This was our second time staying here. We stayed for a night in a 4 bed room. The time before we had stayed here to party in Montreal which was great! But this time we had family travelling the next morning, and it was little loud. The music continued well into the early hours, still going at 3:30am, we should... More

I stayed at Auberge Bishop for 3 nights in jan/14. Pros: Location couldn't be better: walking distance from subway station, restaurants, bars and shopping area. The staff is absolutely amazing: they were always super nice and helpful. Cons: small room, not possible for 4 people to be there at the same time (unless they are sleeping). But the biggest problem... More

I stayed here for only one night so I cannot tell much, but the staffs were VERY friendly, (some of the staffs are actually travelers who are staying in Montreal for a while) breakfast wasn't that nice (only croissant and toast with apple juice and water) but okay, bathroom and shower were clean, and so were the rooms. Bar is... More

Overall a very nice hostel and a very reasonable price. Great location near lots of bars and restaurants. We rented bikes (allowed to keep them indoors overnight) and easily biked to many other attractions including Old Montreal, Mt. Royal, and the port. Beds were quite comfortable for a hostel and the dorms and bathrooms were clean. Only complaint about the... More

I loved the location and the building. Can't ask for anything better than a block from the metro and St. Catherine's street. Beautiful old building with great woodwork and a stained glass window. The rooms were also very nice. However, the building needed some housekeeping work. The hallways weren't super clean, the kitchen was a mess, and the showers were... More

Only a block away from Crescent Street and St Catherine's, the location of this hostel was perfect if you're the party going or shopping type. For you travellers, it was only a couple blocks away from the bus and Metro stations that take you right to the airport or Central Station. When you walk into the building, you instantly notice...
