Booked through a 3rd Party Site. Rooms were comfortable and staff ver helpful. Seems like many of the rooms are long term rentals rather than overnight or weekend travelers. No issues with this, just an observation. At the time we were there, the area was under construction and driving in the area was not the easiest. Had to leave parking... More

If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep, this place is fine. It's clean enough and the customer service team is helpful. But this is definitely a two-star hotel. No frills, not amenities, the breakfast wasn't worth it at all. We booked through Hotwire so we didn't have a choice, and only needed it to sleep, so not a big... More

Everything about this place is decebt value. We got a great suite for about 60 USD, with a full fledged kitchen - about a 20 min walk from old Montreal. So that's all good. But. Breakfast is mostly cereals, bread and canned (extremely sweet) fruits. The catch is the parking- 20$ a night! But if you are staying here, take... More

The + Good location Small kitchen if you don't want to go to a restaurant Bathroom ok Very good pillow Nice staff Good free wifi The - Not a sexy hotel at all, probably muliple appartments brought together at some point to make a hotel. Bed way way too soft, I literraly sank into it. My back was killing me... More

Friendly staff and excellent room. It's right next to UQAM, so the area gets a bit crowded with students, but the hotel itself was very quite. It's also right on a bus line and a short walk from the metro making it a perfect base of operation. The continental breakfast was a bit lack luster, but given that our room... More

We were looking for a night of stay in Montreal and we came across this hotel. The hotel as such is just average, But the location is perfect. It is very close to most of the attractions. Now as for room, the moment we entered there was a kind of smell which later we got accustomed to :) . The... More

Very helpful and pleasant staff; and the room was modern, clean and quiet, and as advertised. Definitely a good value for the price. It's not fancy (nor is it shabby); but given the location it serves as a fine second home with cooking facilities: a good base from which to explore Montreal. Sort of like having an apartment. Close to... More

From the time we arrived at the LeRoberval in Montreal on August 25th until we left on the 31st, we were treated as "family" .... The hotel itself is just about centrally located ... close to public transportation and we were fairly close to the places we wanted to explore by foot.

We stayed at its hotel for 3 nights and couldn't be more pleased. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast and free WiFi saved us cash we got to spend in more fun ways. It's the nothing fancy, but the room absolutely immaculate, and though I have a sensitive back, the bed was very comfortable. What we... More

We stayed in one of their 2 room suites (2 adults, 3 children) and it was fine. Our room had a small kitchen with a cooker, oven and fridge which was really helpful to have some nights without the hassle and expense of finding a restaurant - Montreal isn't the cheapest city. The breakfast was basic (toast, muffins, juice) but... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
