The location is just on the corner of Berri and Rene Levesque which is easy walking distance from UQAM and the bars & restaurants of St. Denis and St Catherine without being too close to the noise of late night revelries. The rooms were well kept and clean with some cooking facilities so you could potentially stay here on a... More

You can't ask for a better location for the price in Montreal. The Berri-UQAM Metro station is a short walk at the end of the block. However, the hotel is within an easy walk of Old Port, Musee d'Art pedestrian mall, and Chinatown. It's also around the corner from the Ste. Catherine Street pedestrian street. Parked the car when we... More

As a person who hates driving, I often try to find places that are close to subway line and cheap eats. Le Roberval fulfills all of that. I booked in advance and got an amazing deal on the room rate during Festival of Jazz and it even came with a free continental breakfast. We filled up on toast, croissants, yogurt,... More

First trip to Montreal and hopefully will come back again and stay at the Le Roberval. Very clean room with extra sofa bed. The main check in has Wi-Fi with a computer downstairs. Our Wi-Fi in our room was a bit on the slow side which in this day and age is a bummer. The bathroom was super clean and... More

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. Really impressed. The quality and standard of the room was far better than we had expected. Apartment was a good size and well appointed. Could not fault. The rate includes a generous continental breakfast and the hotel has a laundromat in the basement. This was a great base and easy to access... More

I have two words for Le Roberval, Super Clean! Okay, I have more than two words. We loved this hotel. We recently stayed 4 nights here, a family of four with two young adult children, and we couldn't have been happier. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, which is really just a converted apartment complete with full kitchen. We... More

The location puts you in the heart of Montreal. The old City is within walking distance and there is a metro stop less than a block from the hotel. It is right next to the University as well. The staff were friendly and bi-lingual. The appreciated my attempt at speaking French and had no issue with speaking English. The desk... More

Just returning from a quick Girls Weekend Away in Montreal. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Roberval. We stayed in a One Bedroom Suite with Sofa Bed - perfect for us! Great space for us each to have separate sleeping arrangements. Loved that our room had a full kitchen with everything you would need in a kitchen - although we... More

My wife and I recently spent two nights at this hotel We found the staff to be helpful, the room clean and spacious, and the hotel to be in a convenient location. Although we didn't use them; having a microwave, cutlery and crockery, and table and chairs was also a nice feature. The breakfast room was comfortable and the range... More

Nice hotel, very clean. Rooms have a good size. Breakfast is good. It´s located in an excellent location, a just a block away from a metro station and if you like walking the Vieux Port it´s close enough.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
