This is an old Post Office that was converted to a 2 floor boutique hotel (maybe 3 .. not sure the 3rd floor is for guests) .. the best thing about the hotel is the staff .. very helpful and friendly .. but if you arrive in the morning there is a chance you may have to wait until they... More

Stayed overnight with my girl friends and had an excellent experience! The staff is very friendly, feels like home! Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the street but can't complain on the noise! Was kinda quiet. Comfortable 2 double beds, nice bathroom, fridge and brick wall with a fire place (non fonctionnel I think) gives a nice feeling... More

Had a great time. The host Sharzad simply an amazing lady. Make your stay worthwhile. Centrally located..minutes drive from Latin quarter . Excellent location in the heart of the Latin Quarter. All of the staff were friendly, personable and helpful. Sharzad, the owner, is a great lady. Very polite, soft spoken, and great guide for giving tips for the landmarks,... More

I was fortunate to stay in Montreal at this historic beaux-arts hotel for 4 nights this January 2015. My charming 3rd floor room with stylish ensuite was recently renovated. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable. The owners and hotel employees were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and located not too far from the city centre. The... My wife and I stayed in this hotel in January 2014. The main feature of this hotel is its nice and old building. It was a conformable stay for us and we liked it. I mean for the price you're paying it's a considerable option, specially if you like architecture or you want to get a unique taste of old... More

This place has to be one of the worse hell holes I ever booked. They will lie to you over the phone to have you book a room. Hotel is cold, rooms are cold rooms are very smal....hotel has no freaking heating. Room decor is very poor... Bed is terrible. DO NOT STAY HERE

We stayed here in winter and found the accommodation to be comfortable clean and basic. The hotel has an interesting vibe, may have been a former postal station or bank at some point. It is old and could do with updating but it would disrupt it's odd charm. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The breakfast room was in the... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighborhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighborhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
