If i had l known how inconvenient the "free parking" is, i would not have chosen this hotel. You are required to give the hotel desk your car key, and you are unable to drive your car out of the lot after 3pm. Essentially, you are a prisoner. We have to leave before 7am, but the desk doesnt open until... More

The hotel is over expected after reading all those reviews, it is clean, comfortable and the location is excellent. You can get to Place-des-Arts Station and underground city within 5 mins walk, and 15 mins to line 2 Place-d'Armes Station. The hotel is very close to OSM (Montreal Symphony Orchestra), I can get to rest quickly after I finish the... More

We went to this hotel for only 1 night and chose it because it was cheap. The room was clean and quiet. It is not luxury, but for 1 night it was okay. The parking is in the back and is not really practical, you have to park your car under an tempo shelter thing and other cars park behind... More

An old adage that should be used more often. Reading some people's reviews boggle my mind. This property is very inexpensive, a step above a hostel, not the Ritz. For the price (I used hotels dot com) you get FREE parking under a canopy, FREE Wi-Fi, FREE breakfast, decent choices on a TV in your room, independent heat, a bed,... More

Stayed here recently for two nights well supposed to be for two nights left after one. when we arrived we checked in. we entered our room which clean to the eye but with further inspection this was not meant to be.... there was two hairs on the pillow and on the blanket/sheets this caused me to think they had not... This hotel is very much like countless others in this part of Montreal: excellent location and not a lot else. The décor is dated, the bed not the most comfortable, the showers and bathrooms not the cleanest. BUT, it includes parking, an amazing location (a quick walk to downtown, the Latin Quarter, the Plateau, Chinatown and Old Montreal) and is... More

This hotel is in an older row house type of building. 3 floors, VERY narrow stairs and halls, no elevator. We were on the third floor, and if you are healthy and don't mind slugging your bags upstairs, it is a chore but manageable. It was fine for me because I had 2 young strong sons to help me, but... This hotel is quite cheap for its location and the parking is free which is great. Don't expect anything fancy but it's clean and our room didn't have a smell. Breakfast was served in room, it was small but good.
