Comfortable hotel; our room was on upper floor, long and narrow, but enough space. Breakfast was routine, but convenient and filling (and INCLUDED in your price). Across the street from UQAM metro stop (largest stop in Montreal) and walking distance from two pedestrian streets (at least in summer), which was great! Also walking distance from express bus from Trudeau airport... More

A lovely boutique hotel near shops and food. Almost next door to UQAM and walking distance for many other attractions. Metro is right outside the door of this Inn. My room was a good size--clean and quiet. I faced the parking lot area which was another benefit to this hotel. Parking is off street and safe. I was greeted by... More

The staff was friendly and the hotel was a little quirky with their nighttime snacks and breakfast delivered right to your door. We loved that the metro was right across the street and that many shops and restaurants were on the next street over. Perfect location to get to many places in the city and within a 20 minute walk... This is a lovely little boutique hotel located down near the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM). The metro entrance (subway) was right across the street and the bus from the airport was only one block away. It's also around the corner from the main train & bus station. It is centrally located in downtown Montreal and everything was easy... More

This is a quaint funky little hotel with a little bit of a "tight" feel to it (meaning hallways and our room). However it is all done very nice and affordable with a good location not to too far from anything - we walked to the jazz festival. Safe area. A great little basket was left outside our room in... This hotel was the perfect spot for me and my son for enjoying the Jazz festival. Room was very clean, the free wifi hummed, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, the price was very reasonable, especially with the small parking fee! 10 minute walk to the festival area! HIGHLY recommend this excellent little hotel. Merci beau coup! Jim and... More

They upgraded our room for free. It had a jacuzzi! Breakfast is free and you never go hungry. They deliver it in a picnic basket to your room every morning plus there's more food in the downstairs kitchen. It's across from the main subway station so it's super easy to get around. You pay for parking on the street beside... More

Easy to get to , secure parking, a bike locker for your bikes and the bicycle maps of the city. It is a block to a major bike path that lets you go almost anywhere. The Metro is bike friendly and it is across the street. Great service. Skip the chain hotels and try this great place.

This hotel is small with 27 rooms but the rooms are very nice, clean and modern . It is centrally located being just a block from Saint Catherine's street .There is parking space provided for a small fee which is a good thing in this city .. Really enjoyed the basket breakfast that is waiting outside your door in the morning(... More

Charming hotel with a central public transportation location! Jason and Chantal were so helpful and charming - we had a great stay! Breakfast in a basket by the door was a nice treat. St Denis street is close with nice bars restros, and shopping

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighborhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomized by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
