Easy to get to , secure parking, a bike locker for your bikes and the bicycle maps of the city. It is a block to a major bike path that lets you go almost anywhere. The Metro is bike friendly and it is across the street. Great service. Skip the chain hotels and try this great place.

This hotel is small with 27 rooms but the rooms are very nice, clean and modern . It is centrally located being just a block from Saint Catherine's street .There is parking space provided for a small fee which is a good thing in this city .. Really enjoyed the basket breakfast that is waiting outside your door in the morning(... More

Charming hotel with a central public transportation location! Jason and Chantal were so helpful and charming - we had a great stay! Breakfast in a basket by the door was a nice treat. St Denis street is close with nice bars restros, and shopping

Terrific location, a few minutes walk to the lively St Denis strip. From the moment we arrived service was excellent, Jason at the front desk could not have been any more helpful. Rooms are comfortable and homely, a little dated perhaps, but service and quaint nature and location more than make up for it. Room delivered basket breakfast was a... More

The hotel is in a nice location, just outside of the old city area. And, as Montreal hotels go, it's inexpensive. They provide a very cute mini picnic basket for breakfast that's left outside your room. Croissants, muffins, yogurt, fruit, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast picnic in our room. Staff was reasonably friendly. That said, the room smelled a tad... More

So let's get the negative done first- the rooms are very small. For one person it would be ok but for two it was a squeeze. But, this hotel is a great place to stay. Very centrally located across the road from Berri Metro Station, in the middle of downtown and within walking distance to a lot of things. The... More

Stayed overnight for a downtown professional meeting the next day. We've stayed often in hotels in or near downtown Montreal, this was our most pleasant experience. Courteous, efficient staff, very helpful. The facilities suited us, for instance although there wasn't a table in the room, guests could use the breakfast area for a picnic supper. The hotel is right next... More

A decent place to stay in central Montreal. Staff were friendly and my room was spacious and quiet. Wifi was fast and reliable. The free breakfast was okay with a mixture of bread, yoghurt and orange juice delivered to the door at 6am. Good to have parking behind the hotel.

Spent 2 nights here and loved it. It's close to everything. The staff was outstanding and our room (406) was huge. Everything was clean. The breakfast was left at our door in a basket each morning. The best part of the stay was the little restaurant downstairs - La Cuvée. Wonderful little place with an awesome manager - Stephanie.

I am a seasoned traveller, so I have been fortunate enough to stay at many different kinds of hotels all over the country and the world. I would give this hotel somewhere between a 3 and a 3.5. It also depends on what you are looking for and how much you are paying for your accommodation. I stayed in a... More

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighborhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomized by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
