I had one of the best stays in my life here. Rate: Cheaper by 10-30 percent than nearby hotels. Rooms: Clean and spacious. Bath: You can choose private or shared. Even shared bathrooms are cleanly maintained. (Skylight in room Royal on the top floor, I first thought I forgot to turn off lights). Public space: There are a living area... More

We stayed here the first week of August. The B&B is perfectly located due to it's proximity to the old port and all the other attractions in Montreal. Lyne, the owner, is definitely on my short list of coolest people I have ever met. Her hospitality and personality made it tough to leave. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious and Lyne's... I spent the best vacation at Angelica Blue that I have had in a long time. Lyne and her employees are the nicest and most helpful people. The breakfast is fresh and copious. I often skippped lunch because I was still full from breakfast. The location can't be beat: close to everything, especially the Quartier des Spectacles where I saw... More

Spent a memorable 2 nights at this B&B in July 2015. Lyne, the owner, did everything she could to make us feel comfortable. She is amazingly friendly, joyful and sympathetic, besides being fluent in 4 languages. I highly recommend it and it is now my preferred place to stay in Montreal.

We stayed 2 nights in this quaint Montreal B&B. Lyne, the owner, was wonderful-helping us to get parked in her free parking behind the building, cooking delicious breakfasts and giving us good information for touring Montreal. She and her assistant who helped serving breakfast spoke very good English. The location was convenient to all sites in Montreal within easy walking... More

My bf and I stayed here during a weekend getaway to Montreal and loved it. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast was prepared fresh every morning by Lynne who is a wonderful cook. We stayed in the Vienna room which was the perfect size for two people. The bathroom for this room is shared which scared me at first (I... More

I found Angelica Blue on TripAdvisor. We were actually booked to a different B&B not too far away. It was also a good B&B, but I just had to cancell that one and book here after reading the reviews Angelica Blue. We're both SO glad we did!. Everything I read here about the B&B, the rooms, Lyne and Robert was... More

Spent one night at this quaint B&B. Rooms are nicely decorated, breakfast was delicious. The owner Lyne makes you feel right at home. Walking distance to many attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Angelica Blue as a little one-night getaway and we had the most amazing stay. The Victorian room we had reserved wasn't ready for us so Lyn upgraded us to the Royal room - so beautiful. The jacuzzi tub was great and the best was one of the most comfortable I've slept in for a... More

We were greated by Diane who is friends with the hostess who was away at the time. She is so sweet and friendly, she made us feel quite welcome immediately. She informed us with everything we needed to know and showed us our room which was the Vienna room. A cozy comfortable room with high ceilings and historic details like... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
