Despite the negative reviews I've seen I have nothing negative to offer about this place. Despite the ongoing renos the front desk staff were helpful and pleasant and the valet parking was efficient. BEWARE however of parking even for a few moments on Sherbrooke St to unload your bagsespecially if it is rush hour. We almost got ticketed! I had... More

I got swapped over from Chateau Versilles across the street to this gem. The room was nicely decorated and large. Service was great. Valet very helpful. They are decorating so be aware of the loud noise. The cafe downstairs - the food is average.

Overall, we were quite disappointed in in our stay at Le Meridien Versailles. I think this was largely due to having viewed the website before our visit. The website exclusively depicts renovated/made over rooms; so, when we arrived to find a room that was similar to what would be expected of a low-end motel, we were very disappointed. I think... Location is great both for transportation and walking, (also some great coffee shops in the area, and young atmosphere). Rooms are not trendy or new, but convenient, simple, clean and nice. Reasonable price.

Went to Montreal for the Osheaga music festival and we felt our stay here was fantastic. The only complaint is that parking was pricey at $27/day. Staff is bilingual and very helpful. We booked our room well in advance, asking for both a renovated and quiet room. Some other reviews here say that the hotel and rooms lack space, but... More

Location is great - walking distance to the art museum and Eaton Centre. The Metro is just around the corner (Guy-Concordia station). No real issues. Staff is bilingual so no worries if you can't speak French.. Glad I read previous reviews...I managed to get a renovated room BUT the only one that was available was but the elevator (which was... This hotel is lovely. The breakfast setup is unique. Location is just perfect. Staff is friendly. Rooms are simple and clean. Very close to high end boutiques, antiques shops, Art and Art Galleries. Very practical and reasonably priced.

Basic decor, poor wifi, low pressure shower head, unpredictable a/c, expensive parking. Shower tile unfinished, stained carpet in hallways, very basic and small gym. Much of the lobby either. Not walking distance to the center. Otherwise very nice. Bed and comforter were comfortable. Nice size fridge. Very friendly staff.

I have stayed at this SPG property a number of times over the years but this last stay will certainly be the last until they can get all their ducks in a row. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff themselves are pleasant and try. The hotel is doing a refresh but it's s long and... More

we came here twice: we started and ended our holiday in canada here. (pre-booked via travel agent) The first time we got a renovated room, the second time an "old" room. The price is the same but the comfort of the old rooms is really inferior, which is quite unacceptable as they charge you the same for it. Staff is... More
