Do not stay here if you don't enjoy climbing steep stairs or you have more than light luggage. This hotel pretends to be a boutique hotel, but is a modest, adequate two star with a Murphy bed with a thin foam mattress, and tattered shower curtain. The staff is fine and excellent warm croissants on your door in the morning... More

I stayed in that hotel 4 nights in last September. Tne first 2 nights were in a room on the first floor, on the street side. very small, and very noisy. The next 2 nights were in a room on the same floor, but on the garden side: much, much better, quite and spacious, for the same price. Generally speaking,... More

You can only keep a secret secret until it becomes known! This small hotel is one of these secrets. I was greeted as if I was a long time friend, and the service was wonderful- it exceeded my expections in the way of costs, comfort, locaton and service. If you had to relocate to the Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal, you... More

My biggest mistake not to check pics and review on trip advisory. Booked on hotels.com and they didn't have pics for me to say "NO" to this hotel. Basically it's a 2star hotel and that's says it all. Old smelly stains on the bed sheets and no hot water in the bathroom sink. They really need to renovate this place.... More

First, I should notice that while I am a frequent traveller (academic) and like to stay in smaller hotels, alternative to the usual impersonal conference chain hotels, this is the first time that I take time to complain. The location is perfect but the rooms are old, small, dirty (bugs on bathroom floor) and dark (small high windows, practically impossible... More

Yes, nice location (bistros and boutiques), yes comfortable beds, but the hotel is old, the breakfast and rooms very small, and the internet not always working! The rooms are cold (central AC) and dark (small window), and the blinds cannot be closed fully. The service was sometimes very well, sometimes rather disappointing (eg, when no internet connection could be made... More

My girlfriend and I stayed her for two night. She went to McGill so knew the area quite well and recommended we stay right on St Denis. It was a great move if you're looking for night life and great food. There are a large number of restaurants and bars close by. It is also close enough to old montreal... More

Anne Ma Soeur Anne feels more like living in a brownstone apartment building in the fabulous Plateau neighborhood in Montreal. It's great to stay in one of the most the most livable neighborhoods rather than in the touristy old town in a high-rise chain hotel. The efficiency kitchen in the room was very convenient to have a snack and glass... More

Stayed for two nights in April. Located on Rue St Denis in the Plateau area. 10- 15 mins to downtown walking, 5 mins to metro station. Room had a bathroom and kitchen with fridge and microwave and grill. Water and orange juice in the fridge. Coffee maker also for breakfast Croissant delivered each morning. Very clean and Murphy bed was... More

Anne, is our home away from home in Montreal. There is enough variety in the rooms to give a traveller what s/he needs. Small rooms can be opened combined into comfortable suites. Fresh coffee and croissants at your door make sleeping in easy. There is enough space in your personal kitchen facilities to eat breakfast or lunch in. Step out... More
