Location of this hotel in old Montreal is perfect. Our room (petite suite) was spacious and clean with large bathroom. Our room faced the front of the hotel and never found the noise to be problem. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and quick to respond. We did not dine in the hotel restaurant since there are so... More

We arrived early for our reservation and were accommodated right away. The reception crew was very friendly and gave my husband and I 2 free drinks tickets for their bar :) They have a valet that parks your car underground for you out of the elements. That cost $25 extra. We were warned that we had come up on a... More

If you are looking to stay in Old Montreal then this should ne considered. Not far from Jacques Cartier Square. Friendly and attentitive staff. Clean and charming interior. Food is not bad. I would probably seek other places to dine but if the weather were not cooperative I wouldn't hesitate to eat there.

I travel to Montreal several times a month on business, and have been exploring different boutique hotels (I'm not a chain girl!) to find that special something. When I walked into the Nelligan I knew I'd found it. Welcoming front desk staff (complimentary glass of wine), lovely brick walls and a very nice spacious room. I will be coming back... More

Wonderful experience. Room was spacious with vintage exposed brick walls, contemporary bathroom, excellent toiletries. Staff polished and warm. I do not speak French but never encountered any problem or "attitude" . Dinner in the dining room fantastic with an excellent wine menu. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel .

The lobby/bar area is very nice, I did enjoy my glass of wine. But the main issue was that the heating system is very noisy. It sounds like they have a thermopump or something like that. It's very annoying, and tiring, to hear that all the time in your room. Also, even though I had a brick wall in my... More

We booked this hotel last minute, arriving new years eve so that might be why we got a smaller room towards the back of the hotel. Still is was comfortable, clean and in general it felt pretty authentic as hotels go. The good thing about the hotel is that you can walk straight onto the cobbled streets of old montréal.... More

Very good place to stay, close to everything in the old montreal. Next time i go i will try the restaurant. The bed are comfortable, the price is a little bit expansive, but the location is just perfect. The breakfast was not quite good, but the services was fine. I would recommend this hotel if you go to old montreal... More

Boutique hotel that has ambiance that felt cozy. Staff was awesome, except for bar tender. Seemed annoyed we used free drink coupons. Concierge went the extra mile in helping us with reservations. Location is wonderful. Excellent room and accommodations. Noisy after bar folks on Saturday could be heard from the streets, but not a big problem. Could not pick a... More
