A terrific boutique hotel in Old Montreal surrounded by fine restaurants and art galleries. Walking distance from the Old Port, the Metro, and the river. Very friendly service with knowledgeable concierges. My companion, Gina Martinez, appreciated the excellent patisserie around the corner, Maison Christian Faure. When we opened our window in the morning, the smell of baking croissant filled the... More

We stayed here for three nights and were delighted that the hotel lived up to its mostly enthusiastic reviews. Very nice room, handsome lobby, and extremely friendly and courteous service. Nathalie, one of the concierges, was especially gracious. And the Nelligan is perfectly located for exploring the city, within walking distance of many attractions and picturesque streetscapes, as well as... More

Excellent hotel. Warm hospitality. Very quiet at night. Me and my husband, we highly recommend this hotel for the 3 reasons mentioned above. This hotel is located at Vieux-Port de Montréal. Near very interesting boutiques and activities. Also, located near Pointe-à-Callières Museum and IMAX 3D. We can also take health walk and relax. If you decide to stay at Nelligan... More

So I wanted to take my 3 year old son to see cirque du soleil in old Montréal and picked what I thought would be a nice but not over the top hotel, the sister hotel to the Place d'Armes, a hotel I stayed at 2 weeks prior. The room was all that was to be expected, old world charm... More

We loved the location of this hotel - so convenient and we walked everywhere. The room and bathroom were large and the service was great. Only complaint was the VERY loud laundry service down several floors and right outside our window at 12:30 am! We would certainly go back.

My husband and I spent 7 nights at Hotel Nelligan in a beautiful King room on the 4th floor. We had just arrived from a few nights' stay in New York City and were overjoyed to see the size of this room in comparison. What a wonderful surprise to have space and a place for everything! It had all the... More

I'm struggling with giving this chic boutique hotel a four or five star rating!? But unfortunately, I have to have a close to near perfect experience to give five stars! Let me begin with firstly, the excellent, perfect location. Then, the cool, chic, yet extremely sophisticated decor. Thirdly, the friendly, attractive, and extremely helpful staff. Lastly, but not least importantly, the... More

A great three night stay in a superb room, but one that was very dark with very little daylight. We were on the second floor and overlooked the atrium - great in many ways in that there was no noise from the street, but we had to have lights on the whole time we were in the room - felt... More

This is our third stay at the Nelligan in as many years and, once again, my husband and I were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is in the heart of Old Montreal. It is a great location on Rue St. Paul, with many good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Comfortable, quiet rooms with a classy decor. If... More
