We stayed here in February 2015. Hotel was overall excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a wonderful city view. The building(s) themselves are historic and charming int heir own right. Deep soaking tub in the bathroom was a nice change from the normal hotel tub. The location is ideal, near to many Montreal sights.... More

I started off my trip for personal (family wedding) and was staying at a different hotel in Downtown Montreal. I switched hotels to stay at Le Place d'Armes on the Sunday for the 'business' portion of my trip. I have to say, I was so happy to switch. Le Place d'Armes made me feel at home right away. The rooms... More

Beautiful hotel located in a great spot in old Montreal near Notre Dame. Stayed in Exec. Suite, highly recommend this if you're staying for more than one night. The club on roof deck was great and the Suite 701 downstairs was fun too. Room could use some updating but the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Very quiet, spacious... More

We stayed here for a "Girls Trip" with family & friends. The hotel is great & staff is very welcoming. Especially the front door staff, always a smile greeting us. They knew it was a special birthday celebration & had a bottle of Champagne in our room when we arrived. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only... More

We arrived for three nights and stayed in a king one bedroom suite. Check in time was three pm and our flight arrived hours earlier, however, the hotel took our bags for us so we could explore Old Montreal. Our luggage was in the room on our return, and the room was gorgeous.high ceilings, spacious, exposed old brick blended with... More

Our huge shoutout to the Welcoming team of Russell and Kelsey. Dedication to the human touch! Up top at the spectacular rooftop terrace, Melanie, manager extraordinaire. Uncompromising service, dovetailed with first class accommodations, food, and a killer bar! Warning....warning! Go for a few days, and you may never want to come home. A definite box to check off and visit.....

This hotel has it all! The most courteous staff, beautiful rooms, great restaurants and bars and a wonderful location in Old Montreal. The turn down service with bottled waters and chocolate and the voucher for 2 complimentary cocktails were very nice touches that made the stay feel special. If we were to return to the city I can't imagine staying... More

My wife and I were on a "road trip", we spent 3 days in Martha's Vineyard, 2 days in Boston and 2 days in Old Montreal.....We've traveled all over the US and Canada, South America and Europe, but I've never stayed in a "regular" hotel room like this one.....It had to be at least 1000 square feet, with exposed brick... Located a block from the Montréal Convention Center and on the edge of Old Montréal, this renovated classic Montréal building is a delight. This is not your typical chain box hotel, it is a beautifully remodeled building located a block from La basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal, and a block from the Montréal Convention Center. Both the shopping districts of Old... More

My husband and I stayed here for a quick 4 day get away. Loved the location, Olde Town Montreal. All three restaurants were excellent. Roof top patio was fun ....their white sangria is the best! Would totally stay here again! Only downside I would say is no pool.

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
