I booked the Penthouse Suite for myself and my friend for her birthday. From check-in to departure all of the staff was incredibly helpful. I was able to store the cake I had purchased for her in their kitchen, and they brought everything up (with cutlery and plates) as soon as we returned from the birthday dinner. I would highly... After staying at several hotels in Old Montreal I booked through hotel tonight website the Le Place D'Armes. Immedaitely upon checking after 12 hour flight in I was greeted by Tanya with the warmest and genuine smile. I knew I had chosen the right hotel. She was so gracious and professional. I received a huge corner room facing the street... More

My wife and I are both in the mining industry and use the CIM conference as an opportunity to get away for 4-5 days. We love Old Montreal and Le Place d'Armes lived up to our expectations in every way. The Service, Food, Accommodations, and rooms were 5 stars.

this hotel cares about its guests and their experience, Kudos especially to Magil and guiding us around the old town. Great overall experience May 2015. My wife and I are pretty seasoned travelers and would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in a great location in old Montreal

We stayed in the executive suite with our three kids. The hotel is lovely, full of character and in the perfect location. There is a great bar and the rooms are cozy with the exposed brick. The bathroom was also very clean and modern. The only reason why I am not giving the hotel 5 stars is because the breakfast... More

Great location in old Montreal, with great views. Service was incredible. Staff was very helpful in helping us fill our day on our own. They were also helpful in directing us to wonderful restaurants in the area. Room was very comfortable and large. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel is very nice (stayed in Junior Suite) just try getting some sleep with it being noisy until 5-6am! I have significant hearing loss and wear a hearing aid during the day, but was still woken up by the noise coming from outside the hotel all night long. On Sunday morning starting at 4:30-5am a truck pulled up... More

Very nice hotel, well located in the old Montreal. Everything was perfect for us, very careful personnel, very nice room, quiet, well furnished and very good bed. Nice bar next to the lobby. Absolutely nothing missing for a perfect stay!

We visit Montreal every year and we always stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, staff is very friendly, the rooms are very nice and there is a great rooftop patio overlooking the square. I also like the fact that this property is made up of three different buildings, so every room is different, it's not the same old... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
