I really resent hotels these days that charge: $15 per day for Internet $11 for a pint of Guinness ($6.50 in Calgary) ...and doesn't have a coffee perc in the room in order to force you to use room service at $10 per large pot. (+plus the room service charge and the "gratuity", like - thanks for the "service" Sofitel!)... more

Very nice hotel, location is great (right in the centre), and very good service. A well-recommended hotel to stay. (if I had to criticise one thing, it would be the Hotel/restaurant Renoir.. service is poor and food VERY expensive. I personnally thing it is overstated and not worth it. Booked into the Sofitel quickly & easily. The staff were friendly and extended the check out time without question. The room was clean with little extras like slippers and a candle in the bathroom.
