Pros: location in Downtown. Cons: ***********There is no safe for valuables, so you have to put your stuff out - Money and gift cards have been stolen - When I ask and inform manager there she was so rude to me and supported her staff though I am 100% sure - she has no Etiquettes to talk to guests, would... I've been to this hotel for 4 nights in July. Should say its not excellent but acceptable. The most good point is location, it gets 5 star for it.cleanness completely average, sofa more or less old. Breakfast average, in a small restaurant. Most of the times people should wait in queue to take items and use facilities. There was 2... More

As I am ready to check out I am writing this review for a 5 night stay. My number one thing is for a room to be clean. Most hotels seem to fall short. This hotel falls pretty far short. Other than that, I have a lot of good things to say about this hotel. The good: Great location, short... More

The location was perfect for us and it was nice to have all the space that a suite offers. The kitchen, unfortunately, wasn't stocked with any dishes. If you're planning on cooking/eating there, you'll need to bring your own gear. This wasn't a problem for us but could be disappointing for some. Staff was great. The kids weren't very comfortable... Great location, couple of blocks' walk to the Metro, right next to Chinatown. We had a corner room that was huge! Large flat screen tv in living room and bedroom. Kitchen with full size fridge, microwave and coffee maker. No dishes or flatware though. Very quiet. Great breakfast and wi-fi included. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 2 nights while vacationing in Montreal. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. They had a good sense of humor and gave us advice on places to eat and see in the area. The parking spaces were very tight but safe, underground garage. The room itself was just ok, it was dated. The carpet was... More

It is no longer a holiday inn so the picture featured for this property is misleading. The location is fine and quiet enough. The hotel reminds me of the student days of cheap, plain all beige apartment with scuff marks everywhere. The suite is a good size but the furniture needs updating as it is scratched up. Bed was comfortable... More

We had a large 2 room suite in the corner of the hotel with something of a view. The second room was basically a TV room with comfortable chairs. Great for those who stay up late and don't want to disturb anyone who wants to sleep ! Had a frig, sink, and microwave. The staff was helpful with directions, and... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
