Lhotel is centrally located in old Montreal. Outstanding accomodations as well as very friendly and helpful staff. Would use this hotel again.

We recently stayed at LHotel and had a great time. The hotel is rather unique. The works of famous artists are on the walls throughout the hotel. It was like staying at a museum. We stayed in Room 115 and it was huge. The room had a great window seat and I spent the evenings watching the people go by... More

NOTE: it used to be called Hotel XIX/Xixe Siecle This place is awesome. It's in a great location, 5 minutes walk from Old Montreal’s sights like the Basilica and it’s also across the road from Hotel Le-St James where you can star spot (the paparazzi were camped out for U2 while we were there). Parking is $22 for 24 hours... More

Booked the L Hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor for my family's first visit to Montreal. What a treat! We stayed for 4 nights in a Junior Suite, the room was beautiul and spacious, full of artwork, confortable king bed and a sofa hide-a-bed for our son. The hotel was charming and unique, with a very helpful and friendly... More

Lovely French hotel in the heart of Montreal. The rooms, corridors and common areas are crammed full of art from some of the world's most famous painters and sculptures. Despite this, the hotel is unpretentious and down-to-earth with extremely friendly and professional staff. In a way, it was like stepping back in time when life was simpler. Location near the... My husband and I along with our children (ages 19-25) stayed at L'Hotel for a weekend trip to Old Montreal. My husband and I had been to Montreal previously, but this was the first experience for our grown children. We went to see a Cirque du Soleil performance at the old port, so we wanted a hotel close by within... More

This hotel is great. The hotel is easy to find and is located in a good neighborhood. The room I stayed in was large and had very high ceilings. Everything in the room worked perfectly and if there was someting I needed the staff had it for me very quickly. The Staff.... the staff at this hotel is top notch.... More

My Partner and I stayed 7 nights at L'Hotel in Montreal. The service was impeccable, the rooms very comfortable, the staff very attentive and hospitable, and the location was perfect. The artwork contained within the hotel put the Museum of Contemporary Art to shame! If you are traveling to Montreal, this is the hotel to stay at. Friday and Saturday... More

My wife and I just returned from a 4 day visit to Montreal and stayed at LHotel. People should be aware that there has been a name change from L'Hotel de XIXieme siecle, which is a real mouthful. We just love Montreal and LHotel. We came specifically to walk around the Old City and the hotel is right there. LHotel... More
