Great location. Rooms were very clean with high ceilings and comfortable beds. Art collection with original paintings is definitely worth mentioning! Overall great find!

This amazing hotel in the centre of the old city is a must for everyone. Even if you are not staying you must visit to see the artwork. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathrooms have been renovated and while not large certainly are large enough. The bar on the ground floor is a wonderful place to... More

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Our room was luxuriously large. I don't know that all the rooms are as big, but I do understand they all have super-high ceilings as ours did. The room was also immaculate - from the linens to the bathroom. I usually have a hard time walking barefoot in hotel rooms, but felt comfortable... More

Excellent location. Great room size, decor and comfy beds. Excellent front office staff. They also have a great art collection with original paintings from the masters. Try as hard as you can, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Don't forget to enjoy a drink at the lobby bar looking at the great paintings and listening to live music. There... More

My wife booked us into this hotel for our 25th anniversary. It is a more plush hotel than we would normally choose, as we normally abide by our "going to see the sights not the hotel room" mantra. However, this was a special occasion! We flew in from Toronto, and caught the 747 Express Bus from Trudeau Airport to downtown,... More

Columbus Day Weekend was the perfect time to travel to Montreal. Having never been before, we were going to celebrate my daughter's sweet sixteenth birthday. We picked the hotel after reading reviews here and examining their website. I had very high expectations and couldn't have been happier. We arrived late on Friday night and were greeted by the most gracious... More

Older, grand hotel. Clean, spacious rooms that were well decorated. High ceilings with artwork in every room and hallways. Friendly, helpful staff. Price was very reasonable. Walking distance to everything. Looking for a picky negative? Expensive valet parking(would be the same anywhere in Montreal). Breakfast buffet was expensive, a good reason to walk to a zillion close by restaurants. Loved... More

Usually stay closer to Ste Catherine Street when in Montreal so this was new location and it worked very well. It is at west end of Old Montreal so a reasonable walk to shopping on Ste Catherine St or Place des Arts ( just under 15 minutes) and of course easy exploring of Old Montreal to the east. The hotel... More

Fiancé took me here for surprise trip. He booked the hotel himself and I am usually pretty picky. The hotel is just north of Notre dame church and we could hear the church bells from our room, we stayed in the Robert Motherwell suite. We walked everywhere from our hotel which was awesome. The service was friendly and good. Hotel... More

My husband and I stayed for the 2nd time at this wonderful hotel in October 2011. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, pleasant, knowledgable and professional. Our room was huge and included a mini refrigerator. The breakfast is a good way to start the day and also to save a few dollars. The hotel is located in... More
