This hotel was perfect for my purpose: good price and 5 star-like location. Close to old Montreal area, walkable to downtown and subway. service was good. (the gentleman at the concierge walked us to ATM machine because he thought it would be hard to find ) . just to be clear, I'm rating this hotel as "very good" instead of... More

If you like art, you might enjoy staying here; if you love art - especially Modern Art - you have to stay here! I discovered L'Hotel quite by accident while exploring Old Montreal last January. The Botero and Dine sculptures which frame the entrance to this beautiful 19th-century former bank building aroused my curiosity . After my second champagne cocktail... More

This hotel is a real treasure. It is a very short walk from the subway and the restaurants of Old Montreal. The greeting upon our arrival was very warm and we found all staff (Cleaning Lady to Bartender) bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. The lobby is very comfortable with free WiFi. The rooms are elegant with free... More

I have stayed at this hotel on four occasions. The rooms are spacious and fairly well kept, although their age certainly shows. The beds are a little soft for my taste but fairly comfortable. Internet access is spotty depending upon the room you are in. On my last trip to Montreal, I called to book a room as usual and... More

This delightful hotel in Old Montreal combines the elegance of Old Europe with the charm and friendliness of your neighbourhood haunt. One is treated to a visual feast starting from the architectural beauty and continuing with the impressive, museum quality display of artwork. My partner and I were completely taken with this lovely jewel of a hotel and found it... More

This was such a wonderful surprise for my wife and me. We have stayed in about 30 different hotels in Quebec and Montreal over the years, inlcuding places like Le Saint Sulpice, the Nelligan hotel , The Places d' Armes Hotel, And many others in that area, . LHOTEL is just the best of them all. The rooms feel like... More

But what really elevates this hotel above the gorgeous spacious rooms,... More
