This stay was a real low point to our visit in old Montreal. We arrived a bit early during a heavy rain storm and we were told to come back later to check in. They took our bags and we headed out to see some sights. We returned later to check in soaking wet and seeing our bags I asked... More

Good location in the Old City of Montreal, rooms are excellent, but it stops there. This hotel seems to lack good management. The front desk staff are pleasant, but don't seem to have experience or training in customer service. They would prefer to argue with guests rather than assist & are becoming more like the Parisians than the French speaking... More

We really enjoyed our stay at LHotel in Montreal. This hotel is full of artwork of every type making it very interesting. The staff are fluent in French and English and very friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice with lovely furnishings as well as a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The hotel was convenient to walking everywhere we... More

We just returned from a 4-and-a-half day trip to Montreal where we stayed at the LHotel, a boutique hotel in Old Montreal. It's located in the east portion of Old Montreal just a block from Notre Dame, in other words, close to most everything we wanted to visit. We stayed in the Sam Francis room (312) a large corner suite... More

This is a nice hotel that is centrally located for walking around and dining choices. I had a room on the 1st floor and had problems with the Wi-Fi from time to time and had to go to the lobby for a connection at different times. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. You must pay for breakfast... More

Dear HarJo, Thank you for taking the time to recount your past stay with us here at LHotel Montreal. Being a historical building and located this well unfortunately means higher prices in the city. Nevertheless, we seek to meet the pricing with the outstanding service you should receive. The fact that you had issues with the WiFi connection is an... More

We recently spent 3 very pleasant nights at LHotel. Even though we didn't have the biggest room it was more than adequate with an extremely comfortable bed, high quality linen and towels. The high ceilings give the room a larger feel. The quirky deco is charming and gives the Hotel it's individual style. What makes this Hotel really special are... More

Wonderful hotel. Perfect location, stayed 4 days never went more than 2 blocks for a meal. Staff was excellent. Room was good size. Really enjoyed Montreal! Art Museum, Botanical Gardens, both worth seeing. Old Montreal is a fun neighborhood.

Yes, it has odd decor but welcoming in a weird way. The lobby sets the tone with it's neon sculptures and strange angles. But there are lots of cozy corners to sit in and a bar. The staff are all young and friendly. Their recommendations for restaurants were very helpful. We paid the $22 a day for valet parking which... More

We booked LHotel for a 3 night stay in Montreal. There is no doubt this hotel is perfectly located for exploring the city and the lobby and rooms are great. The lobby is very colourful with amazing pieces of art hanging on every wall. A great space to relax after a day in the city. The rooms are large and... More

Was staying in Montreal to give a talk and booked in via Expedia to LHotel in old Montreal. Arrived at the desk and gave my name. They couldn't find my reservation. Turned out I stupidly booked it for the following night and the hotel was apparently fully booked. EEEEK! However, there was one room that's a bit smaller that they... More
