Lots of choices for hotels in this wonderful city. We made a good choice because it looked like alot of fun, and it was! Montreal has a number of well defined areas and since your hotel can't be in all of them, this is as good a starting point as any. Not too far from Montreal's excellent transportation system so... We picked LHotel primarily for it's location, price, and Tripadvisor reviews- and we weren't disappointed. Location: A short walk to the sights of Old Montreal and the metro. I generally like hotels that are close, but slightly removed, from the hustle and bustle of the tourist sights. There are lots of shops and restaurants to browse as you walk (and... More

I'm frequent business traveler, I been in many first class hotels around the globe. Lhotel provide home style luxury that push you to stay more. Huge well decorated room with amazing views. Almost steampank style huge bathroom 7 feet celling. In our Montreal memories LHotel reserved "warm" place.

Great hotel in the centre of town. There is a bar and the hotel has an interesting vibe and theme. It is close to shops and restaurants. Our room was huge with high ceilings and a good bathroom. There is a big tv and a awesome soft but comfy bed. The pillows are also not too soft. They also have... More

Arrived at LHotel several hours prior to check in and they gave us our room early. The front desk staff was VERY accomodating and helpful as were all bellmen. Our room was a large room with offset placement of beds which afforded extra privacy. The bath was modern and had enough room for toiletries. Loved the Robert Indiana sculpture! Art... More

A friend and I stayed at LHotel this past weekend and found it had a great location in Old Montreal - just steps from Notre Dame but a bit out of the way so it was incredibly quiet. We booked the room on one of the hotel booking sites, and it was one of the few that seemed to offer... More

Let's start with the bad. There was only one issue but I found it to be very serious so it gets one star. Had the issue been resolved, I definitely would have given 5 stars. We checked into room 409 on June 27th for our anniversary vacation, when we got to the room, it was unlocked but we figured that... More

My husband and I went to Montreal for our babymoon and enjoyed the hotel very much. Staff is friendly. It's a smaller feel. The rooms have high ceilings which makes it feel nice and spacey. Great hotel bar. Continental breakfast is average. Nice location in old Montreal.

L’Hotel provided delightful décor inside and out. We enjoyed the cheeriness of the art works throughout. Their comfortable lobby invites repose. The friendly, attentive, and helpful staff made an effort to respond to all of our questions. We had a 1st floor room where we wished to be able to float, as the ceiling was so high. The floor space... More
