The hotel staff was amazing. We pulled in with bikes on our car and they were very accomodating in helping us . they stored the bikes and recommended rides. Location was perfect!. Our room was comfy. We would definitely stay again.

I've rated the LHotel as average. I would say the hotel is a bit confused on figuring out what identity it wants. There is some great historic art in the lobby and some that looks like it's a half finished horror movie set piece. There is a large clump of mangled metal in the lobby that resembles a large crushed... More

Spent one night in Montreal and needed a hotel near both Old Montreal and the convention center. This hotel was perfect! All the artwork is amazing. Very safe area. Easy parking nearby. Would stay again.

Booked this hotel as the midway point for a New England and Quebec road trip with my family for the summer. Very easy to find in the maze that is downtown Montreal (I don't speak French). We were warmly greeted and checked in very easily. The room (Room 201) was exactly as requested. As other reviewers noted, LHotel has a... More

I don't even know where to begin - L'Hotel is a cool, quirky, very European-style boutique hotel right in Old Montreal - very different from the chains my husband and I tend to visit. We were treated to a 2-room suite with 12-foot ceilings, funky modern art and a spotless bathroom you could park an SUV in. The front desk... More

This hotel is very well located as it is only a couple of blocks from Notre Dame, a few wonderful restaurants (Olive and Gourmando, Barraco, etc.), a stop for the Hop-on & Hop-off buses as well as a metro stop for Place-D'Armes. Our room felt quite large with the tall ceiling heights and a nice soaking tub. The bed and... More

Lots of choices for hotels in this wonderful city. We made a good choice because it looked like alot of fun, and it was! Montreal has a number of well defined areas and since your hotel can't be in all of them, this is as good a starting point as any. Not too far from Montreal's excellent transportation system so... We picked LHotel primarily for it's location, price, and Tripadvisor reviews- and we weren't disappointed. Location: A short walk to the sights of Old Montreal and the metro. I generally like hotels that are close, but slightly removed, from the hustle and bustle of the tourist sights. There are lots of shops and restaurants to browse as you walk (and... More

I'm frequent business traveler, I been in many first class hotels around the globe. Lhotel provide home style luxury that push you to stay more. Huge well decorated room with amazing views. Almost steampank style huge bathroom 7 feet celling. In our Montreal memories LHotel reserved "warm" place.

Great hotel in the centre of town. There is a bar and the hotel has an interesting vibe and theme. It is close to shops and restaurants. Our room was huge with high ceilings and a good bathroom. There is a big tv and a awesome soft but comfy bed. The pillows are also not too soft. They also have... More
