We arrived the late in the evening of July 3rd, having booked the hotel in March, and found that our reservation wasn't on file and the hotel was full. After a certain amount of to-doing, we were referred to the Hotel Manoir on Sherbrooke, which had a room for us and was great. We were very frustrated and received no... More

My wife and I, along with another couple, loved our visit to Montreal made more enjoyable by our stay at Hotel St Denis. This cozy little hotel in the Latin Quarter is so conveniently located, with friendly staff and very clean rooms. Maude and Jerome at the front desk were gracious, helpful and always smiling as they guided us (... More

My husband and I stayed here on August 19 and 20. While it wasn't perfect, the location proved to be great. First, the pros....the location is in the Latin Quarter with numerous restaurants (and opportunities for people-watching) within 2 blocks, the metro within 2 blocks, and the old city within a 5-10 minute walk. The room was small, but very... More

Excellent stay in an amazing location. Hotel has a very warm deco. The staff is very attentive. I had a very comfortable stay with my whole family. We found also the place very quiet and calm. Will definitely recommend

Great for a 2-3 star hotel. No view from the room but otherwise the room had all amenities and was well maintained. Excellent location near the action but was quiet and comfortable at night. Will stay again.

I had a very pleasant one-night stay at this hotel. I basically have no complaints about anything....I did not find the air-con to be loud. The room was comfortable, larger than I expected, and quiet. The bed and toiletries were great. The staff was as well. I know the area outside is a bit rough with transients and some yahoos.... More

This was my second stay at this great little hotel. This time I had a room overlooking Rue St. Denis so I did hear some traffic but it wasn't bothersome. The hotel is older so the rooms are larger and not cramped (though my bathroom was small). This is not a chain hotel but one with a family feel. The... More

When I arrived at the hotel I was a bit nervous because there was graffiti On the fifth floor outside , then I thought damn how did the little bastards get up there but after getting checked in and laying on the very comfortable bed I thought wow this is worth the price! So far very pleased. The hotel is... More

Great location in the Latin Quarter beside Rue St. Cathrine. Room was clean but basic, and service was good. It was a little noisy and you can hear people in the hallways but it wasn't too bad. TV didn't work in my room but wasn't bothered by it as all rooms have free Wi-Fi and it is quite fast too.... More
