Beautifully appointed and eager to please, this hotel and staff are efficient, warm, and elegant. There is a pet fee of $40, which included pet amenities. Would you you like these now, or at turndown time? Bowls and a tray, and a pet bed for sleeping - oh, no, this bed is too small. We have a range of sizes... More

The building, its architecture and decor are an attraction all of its own! The location is perfect and the staff here are wonderful. For dining, there are more exceptional offerings around the city that are worth trying. However, for accomodations, I don't think that you can do better than the St. James in Montreal!

This is a beautiful building-housed in an old bank. It is generally very well rated and while good perhaps over rated. Restaurant is ok but not worth going out of your way for in a city with many good options. Thier heritage rooms are very nice and very comfortable, well furnished with good service. Overall I'd say it's 85-90 ot... More

We stayed at Hotel Le St-James for a little weekend getaway from Toronto and it was everything we could have asked for and more. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. They organized a reservation for us at a local restaurant and made some really great brunch recommendations when the place we wanted to go to was... More

This elegant hotel welcomed us rather scruffy travelers as if we had been delivered by limousine rather than driving ourselves up to the front door in our modest car. My young son and I had a fun stay and enjoyed the room service, restaurant and our large, well-appointed and quiet room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is... More

Really enjoyed this hotel. Good sized room, elegantly furnished with a really nice large bathroom. Cool more modern bar/restaurant with excellent food. Great service. Central location. Couldn't fault it.

We stayed here for one night after cutting our ski trip to Mont Tremblant short, Le St James is a beautiful boutique hotel! When we arrived there was a warm greeting and were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was very much appreciated. The suite, although we weren’t there long enough to take full advantage, was lovely with possibly the... More

From the moment we checked in my husband and I were delighted with the beauty of the hotel. Old Montreal is charming and full of little shops. The concierges Atieene and Yannis were the sweetest most helpful gentlemen- room service was fast and delicious. We ordered hot chocolate and ice cream every night. The banana and chocolate ice cream were... More

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary and it was nothing short of perfect! Beautiful room, top notch service, and excellent food in the adjoining XO Restaurant! It's the little touches that I really appreciated. There was always someone to greet us at the door each time we entered the building whether... More

When we pay over $350 a night for a room in a 5-star luxury hotel, we expect to be "wowed" by the experience. And indeed we have at other hotels around the world for this amount of money. Sadly this was not the case at this hotel in Montreal. The disappointing experience began the moment we arrived after a long... More
