To tell the truth,at first I think I did not choose an ideal hotel. But after our stay I love the hotel very much. The members are very friendly. The breakfast are very good. The hotel is not so new, but I can feel the heart of their service. My son got ill during our stay, the front people gave... More

This hotel has worked out well for us when we have travelled to Montreal, by car, from the Maritimes. It is located at Sherbrooke and the entrance of the Hippolyte Tunnel and it sits overtop of the Radisson metro stop. It minimizes the need to deal with Montreal traffic. By metro, the downtown is 20-30 minutes away and metro passes... More

I started looking for hotels for my trip to Montreal 4 weeks in advance and found that many hotels in the city centre were fully booked or extremely expensive, so I ended up booking this hotel for 3 nights. It is located far from the city centre, but luckily Radisson metro station is located right next to the hotel. It... More

We were traveling with a group, and had 11 rooms reserved. It was for a busy weekend, both the Osheaga music festival and the Montreal Highland games were that weekend, so our group booked well in advance. After a terrifying drive through Quebec, we finally arrived at the hotel to check in. The lady at the desk grabbed the sheet... More

Unless you want to spend upwards of $150+ a night for a hotel in Montreal, you will get an older and more 'cozy' place to stay. This was that cozy and older place. This hotel is next to a fair-sized mall where you can pick up groceries and do a bit of eating a shopping. It takes about 15-20 minutes... More

Booked here for 2 nights on the start and finish of a 5 day trip to Montreal and old Quebec. Thank god we spent only part of the time here. The first night the room was facing the pool area. The furniture was badly worn, the rug stained and there was mold and an old wet towel in the bath.... More

Exactly what I expected based on previous reviews - very clean and comfortable, however, a little bit outdated and in need of some repair. We stayed at premium room with queen bed and sofa, 2nd floor with balcony facing pool (inner room) - I guess, this is the best location. It has everything you need - iron with board, hairdryer,... Stayed here for the Woman's World Cup. The entrance to the subway is right next door to the hotel. There is a mall across the street from the hotel with a great sports bar that has excellent food and a great breakfast place. Now a review on the hotel. It was clean and the lobby was nice but the rooms... More

Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Bit of the rooms needs updating a little. Hotel was very clean and staff were excellent. Mall is across the street and the metro also. 15 to 20 minutes to get to the city centre by metro which is great because I stayed there to see Formula 1 racing and it was... More

This hotel has seen better days. The interiors are dated, the beds are hard, but the staff is very friendly. Hotel was clean and the cleaning staff went above and beyond. The front desk staff we also very accommodating. Shame the pool is outdoors since in Montreal that means there are only a few months a year it can be... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighborhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighborhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
