We stayed here one night for business. It is a nice average hotel that reflects the price paid for our room. The room and washroom were clean but in some need of updating. The breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. The one thing I must add is, the windows and blinds in the restaurant were filthy. I can... More

To attend a swim meet, we had 27 people taking 15 rooms. When we checked-in, all our names were printed on the envelops with WiFi codes. It was a very efficient check-in. Good Location: Excellent for subway access. There is a big shopping mall across the street. Plenty of space for buses. Friendly and Efficient Staff: The booking was supported... More

Stayed one Saturday night late November 2014. Arrived at the hotel around 330 PM, 7-8 people line up at the front desk checking in. A reservation was lost from one of the guest ahead of us so, waited over 45 minutes to check in. It was disorganized. Not happy as we were meeting family at 530 PM in the lobby.... More

That was what HotelTonight, the app, called it. It really meant old and broken. My toilet ran so loudly that I had to call for the handyman... and of course it started running a few minutes after he "fixed" it. The air was damp and stale down there in the basement room, and wouldn't air out with the small window... More

We stayed here to go to a hockey game as it is very close to the metro and we did not want to drive downtown. I suggest you upgrade your room. Ours was stuffy and needed airing. I forgot very expensive boots there and called for 4 days to report the loss and being told they couldn't be found. The... More

The premium room is not worth the price asked. The location of the hotel is not very attractive, even though the hotel is considered "downtown", it is still far from the "true" center of Montreal. Premium rooms have been renovated but it's still rather cheap. The air conditioning made a lot of noise, the bathroom is small with an old... More

I stayed there 2 weeks ago for 2 nights with a tour group, so it must be a bargain price. The rooms don't appear to have been remodeled ever, but they are clean. Carpet leaves a lot to be desired, as does the surrounding area outside the hotel. The staff are very nice and accomodating. You cannot get anywhere from... More

Good place for the price. Right across Raddison metro station of green line, very well connected to the city. The rooms are fine; they are old but no complaints. The only con is if you get free breakfast with the coupon it is very slow. You have to give yourself an hour plus for a family of 4 even if... More

A good compromise for the budget conscious traveler. Located adjacent to the RADISSON metro station at the far end of the green line which provides direct access to public transportation. The Versailles shopping mall is steps away as are neighborhood and chain restaurants. Accommodations are basic, but adequate and a good value for the price, especially if you take advantage... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighborhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighborhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
