Clean, beautiful, patient service, quiet, romantic and all of the above! It's a must visit location with everything around. They were amazing for our 40 guests for our wedding and giving everyone our gift bags. So grateful for them during our special day/weekend! MERCI!

The hotel is located in a great location in Old Montreal. Just minutes to all the old town activities. The hotel is nice and I was surprised about the room size. It had all the requisite amenities. Great place and the fact they allowed us to have our two small dogs was awesome.

Enjoy everything! Gorgeous place and friendly people. Spacieux room. Well located Walking distance from everything in old Montreal. Would go back in a heartbeat. Valet parking makes it easy to access.

I stayed for a business meeting but I have been several time to Montreal and know the area very well. The hotel is in the perfect spot for tourists or for anyone visiting beautiful Montreal, by the old port, close to the river. Great restaurants around and a great, quiet setting. The restaurant is top class, with great service and... More

Was deciding between this hotel and hotel Nelligan around the corner. We made the right decision. Much more spacious rooms, more modern, great amenities in the room in terms of the fireplace, balcony, n'espresso machine, full kitchen, front hall closet etc. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Valet parking with in and out service very convenient. Location awesome. Lobby very... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Le Saint-Sulpice hotel while in the city attending and working at convention. Beautiful property! We travel quite often with our company and stay at hotels in many cities and let me tell you the Saint-Sulpice is right up there in terms of quality. The location is wonderful. It is located in "Old... More

This uber stylish hotel boasts of a perfect location in the old town of Montreal, right next to Notre Dame part duex. Its rooms are nore like mini suits with generous proportions and ample facilities including sofas, fires, kitchen and stylish decor. The lobby bar also oozes style and class but this is where things go downhill. Get past the... More

Got booked here by my company for a business trip. All of my colleagues ended up at the many stuffy, corporate spots 10 minutes away (and closer to the Palais de Congres / Montreal Convention Center) but I was elated to be placed at Le Saint Sulpice. The suites are large and thoughtfully/intentionally designed for comfort and long-term use. The... More

Sunshine on a rainy day, warm welcomes as if they knew me and had missed me, and the sounds of silence in my from a full hotel. Unheard of! But true. My stay at Le Saint-Sulpice was everything I was told it would be, and more. My room was clean, comfortable, well lit, and quiet. I thought I was the... More

The location boutique property has a lot of charm, I stayed their 6 nights and loved walking the cobble stone streats it is in a great central location with many attractions such as Montreals famous catherderal right on the doorstep. My suite was large but unfortunately on the ground floor which made it a little on the dark and dingy... More

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
