The best part about this hotel (which is really more a motel) is its location. You are close to all the sights. Rooms are nothing special. Clean though they smell a lot of air freshener or something chemical. Staff are alright. For the price, this is a good deal if you just want a place to crash.

Its just okay. Internet wasnt working went to the lobby and still didnt manage to fix it. Stayed one night and charges us an amount and the next day when we wanted to stay one more night, they apparently just had a smaller room but way expensive, and same quality. You can get better options at more centric places for... More

We went as a family and a good friend for the March Break/St. Patrick's Day. The hotel was very central but there was no on-site parking. We had to park the car about two blocks away in an open-air parking lot. The hotel was situated on a very narrow one-way street going down a fairly steep hill. It was very... More

I just came back from a three night stay in cold and snowy Montreal and I couldn't be happier with my accommodations. Warm ,clean and quiet...this place was in a perfect location to see all the sights I wanted to and all within walking distance. The price was right (it was of course off season), the staff was very friendly... More

The rooms were so dirty. And the management were so rude. We got a noise complaint at 8pm for having our music to loud. They lost the paper work for one of my friends who was staying with us so they didn't let him come upstairs and man him leave and threatened to call the cops on him. Then when... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and the stay was pleasant. The staff at the reception is very helpful and had a lot of suggestions when asked. The female receptionist was the one that we interacted with mostly as she was available in the mornings and she directed us to some really good places and restaurants. The hotel is... More

Having read a number of reviews prior to arriving we had some concerns but having stayed there for three days really don't know how some of the negative reviews are arrived at, ok its not the Hilton but equally your not paying for the Hilton. Having stayed at the Hilton in London which cost over £250 per night I can... More

Hotel looks okay i guess, was a cheapish choice for two young travellers but is rather basic overall; we only planned to sleep here nothing else. However i never got to stay here, I made a mistake with the reservation on Booking.com but the hotel would not allow any amendments therefore we had to cancel the entire reservation costing us... The hotel is ok. You can see that it's old and it would need a few renovation. But the location is GREAT. I had a music show at the Metropolis and it's right down the street. It's close of everything.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
