I have travelled alot with work and for holidays and stayed in budget hotel's as I have always found them a cheap place to shower and a bed to sleep but the travelodge Montreal is the worst excuse for a hotel I have ever experienced We had booked this hotel as a group of 8 had decided to go to... The room was very small and probably one if the smallest hotel/motel rooms I have stayed. If you have been on a cruise ship before, that is about the room size you can expect. Other than that, the room was clean and fine for the price in downtown Montreal. The hotel is located close to a lot of attractions like... More

Room was not ready in time for check in. Paid close to $400 a night and made us late for our concert. Expect a refund or reduced rate but instead were greeted with rude customer service. I am a wyndham gold member And stay in hotels for work 5 nights a week on average and have never experienced such bad... More

This stay wasn't particularly memorable. We arrived later than expected and had to park down the street due to a full parking garage. We basically arrived, ate at St Hubert, slept, ate an unmemorable breakfast at the hotel, then left to continue our trip. Sadly no time for sightseeing. Good location for sightseeing. It's a very dated hotel and I... More

We had a room facing the main road, which is noisy. The breakfast was the most most basic I have ever seen, very little there. Having said those bad points the room was clean, the beds were good (we are a family of four and a bed each was nice) and location next to China town great for restaurants. Overall... More

No one expects luxury at a travelodge. Our room was small, the bed was comfortable and the location great. Breakfast was mediocre but included so we saved money by eating it. Parking is almost non existent in the hotel so we parked in a lot on a side street. Parking costs can really add up. We got what we expected.... More

My wide and I went to Montreal on a whim. No planning and no idea what we were going to do, where we would stay or what we would eat. So I looked up hotels with my wish list but I was not willing to spend $200+. But I also knew that I had little expectations other than having a... More

In all honesty, I was somewhat apprehensive when I made my reservation. After reading many of the posts, I was concerned that maybe I made a mistake. I had stayed at many Travelodge's before, and knew that it couldn't be as bad as some folks had written. But, on a limited budget as well as thinking I wouldn't spend that... More

Go in understanding that some lousy hotel rooms in Montreal can run you $250 and you will not be unhappy. Forego the breakfast unless you need a quick java jolt. Room was small, shower big enough for one only, noisy A.C. staff was welcoming. Had to park across the street, but not all hotels have 3 levels of parking. The... More
