Clean room, quiet atmosphere, very good continental bkft, excellent location for shoping and many restaurants to choose from. The matress was too soft on one side and the other half was ok.

We paid money to stay at a refugee camp, the only good thing was the receptionist at the front desk, "refugees" dominate every part of this motel and have thrown garbage EVERYWHERE! the room was fairly clean except when we went to shower, the drain was plugged with gobs of hair and shower turned quickly into a pool. I would... More

A budget hotel very well located near the conference hall downtown Montreal. The morning breakfast is OK. The view from the upper floors is wonderful. The staff is friendly and the Wi-Fi works fine. The hotel is located on 30mins drive to the international airport.

The room was very plain with an average view. We had issues with the water pressure in the shower and the staff was accommodating and moved us to another room. The room was very small therefore not recommended for lounging. It's right next to chinatown. Continental breakfast was good. There is no parking for hotel guests.

The hotel is well located and the room, although clean, is extremely small. Quite disappointing. As far as the restaurant where breakfast was served, it was very dirty, the tables and chairs wobbled, the toaster didn't work well, the plates were dirty, the cups chipped, etc. It may be included with the hotel stay but I have seen much better.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighborhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centers, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
