Good hotel for exploring Montreal. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast, excellent service. Parking is a problem as limited at the hotel. 24 hour public parking within 5 minute walk cost $34 (approx £17 Sterling)

They have cams on every corner. But who would take the trouble to demage anythink when the equipment is already horrible.... Rooms are dirty, furniture old. We all started to sneeze there. Breakfast was good, restaurant doesn´t have the same owner though.

Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. You are charged a 100$ deposit but this is reversed as soon as you leave your hotel without any damages. Got a great deal including tax for about 100$ per night, I had no complaints. Stayed in the room with a Queen bed. The rooms is divided into two section one for sleeping and... More

The hotel was above-average quality and had superior service from staff! Parking was a little issue with a large vehicle but we were able to find outdoor parking in a lot only a block or so away. The location of the hotel was decent - we were within walking distance to public transportation and some restaurants.

The staff at the front desk are always polite and friendly, even when they are busy (which is often). The recent renovations of the lobby and reception area, and the upgrades to the guest rooms have made this hotel a nice... More

I have never felt the need to write a review before, but this hotel was so bad that I feel compelled. I booked this room last minute as I could not find any other availability. The car may have been a better choice. The room smelled so bad I don't know how I managed to stay; I think by blasting... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
