Came to Montreal to watch a Canadians hockey game. Didn't want to have to drive around the city too much in the middle of the January cold and snow. Stayed here for 2 nights, the rooms were very spacious and modern with a HUGE bathroom. Beds were super comfortable, slept so good. The outside of the hotel doesn't look spectacular... More

When I got to my room the A/C was unplugged and their was no faceplate on the electrical outlet to plug it in. I called the front desk and they told me to plug it in. I was not happy. The bathroom vent was so coated with lint and dust it did very little and there was a bulb out... More

My partner and I got 2 rooms (one for us and one for the in-laws) for Grand Prix 2015. The rooms were clean/tidy, very small. The shower curtain in our room was falling off the wall causing he floor to get completely soaked- and the bathroom overall was dingy. My in-laws room was a disaster- the shower head in their... The hotel has changed little since my last visit two years ago. The standard two-bed room was comfortable but dated. My recent stay was for three nights and I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The internet was fast without any down or slow times. I made good use of the in-room refrigerator.... More

I had a problem with coffee machine, Tarik (manager) retrieved the machine, brought me a free double expresso. Next morning, there was a new coffee machine (Keurig) at my door. Still in the box. I stayed 4 days, everyday I was greeted very friendly, by desk clerks and Manager, personally. Given coffee for my room. I was so pleased, I... More

Both rooms we rented were comfortable, clean, quiet and attractively decorated. The two elevators servicing the rooms on the 7th floor were fast, and for security, required the use of one's room key. The staff on the front desk were polite and responsive. The only disappointing feature was the quality of service in the franchise restaurant built into the hotel's... More

All in all a very easy place to stay for the Grand Prix weekend. Rooms are always clean, nice staff, very close to subway-(one stop to track!) In the 8 years I have been coming to this hotel, they are always upgrading facilities. They are really trying! Having a bar and restaurant on location is a real plus! Easy walking... More

We been going to this hotel for the pass 7 years for the F1 race, 12 of us but lately, this hotel is down on service they made some renovations. The staff does not know too much or they don't want to say. We thinking of changing. We always get breakfast included for the 3 nights and they only gave... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
