The price was right for our business stay - 10 people - we were only in our rooms to sleep and shower. The hotel caters to transients, think some of them live there. In need a major renovation, but bed was comfy, room was clean and the bathroom in the suite was huge, great for sharing. Staff was really amazing,... More

I found this hotel via DealFind for $77 ($99 with taxes). The hotel has a clean, modern look in the rooms and lobby. The automatic doors to the lobby and parking garage were much appreciated when carrying a lot of luggage! We stayed in a 'standard' room, with two queen beds. The room was simple and spacious, which I liked.... More

The good? Great location if you're visiting the Bell Centre the arena is within walking distance. A metro station is pretty close by as well. The room itself is pretty comfortable although the free wifi cuts in and out and is not reliable. Price for the room dirt cheap via Hotwire. The bad? The front desk guy is pretty rude.... More

Staying at the Hotel Espresso was a not only convenient, but extremely comfortable. Parking was a breeze, and the desk staff was completely accommodating. Our room was generous and very quiet, and the bed firm and crisply made. Topping it off with a good breakfast buffet, we left feeling we had experienced good value.

It exceeded my expectations. 747 from the airport stops in front of the hotel. There are two metro stations near the hotel. The downtown core is in walking distance. The bed was really comfortable. The room was super clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was so so. The only downside was the gym. It was so creepy and closes at... More

We got good price from Priceline.com. The hotel is close to bell centre and bar area, a little far from old Montreal. Sound proof of the room is poor and bad plumbing. Decoration is also old. Indoor parking is convenient. Wifi is free but slow and not stable. Front desk is nice. There is a computer in the room. Although... More

We stayed at the Hotel Espresso over the weekend. They have done a good job of decorating the lobby and the rooms were okay. This hotel offers queen size beds which was what we were looking for because we had 3 adults travelling. Some of the similiar priced hotels closer to downtown Montreal only accommodate 2 adults in their rooms.... More

The hotel is very comfortable and it has a small shop, with interesting prices to a shop localizated inside a hotel. The bedroom was good, washroom with good space. It is near of good pubs like Peel Pub, one of the best in Montreal. The breakfast offers breads, cheeses, juice and other simple things. I recommend!

Pros- Located close to lots of restaurants and activity downtown. -Included wireless. They even had a computer to use in the room we stayed in. -Inexpensive. -Helpful staff. Cons- Did not like the laminate floors in the rooms. -Bathrooms have the worst toilets. It's hard to have a toilet be so bad as to remark about it. Very uncomfortable. -Beds... More

We stayed in January, 2014. I liked the rooms. Very modern. One reviewer mentioned that the laminate floors were weird, but I really liked them. Probably a bit crazy, but made me feel the room was cleaner. Not so many "unknowns" lurking in the carpet. I thought the customer service was just ok. We never really put them to the... More
