Just stayed at the Queen Elizabeth in Montreal. The front staff were friendly, quick to offer suggestions and easily changed between English and French, they also surprised us with some lovely chocolates for our anniversary. We went to this place because it was a Fairmont property. It was fine. Not the best location, not the best hotel, but not bad either. Usually I see Fairmont as setting itself a cut above. We stayed on the "gold" floor and felt well looked after. A carefully appointed room, pleasant and helpful concierge, nice lounge with a good breakfast - but not cheap. Our visit to Montreal was helped by the location of this hotel. Very centrally located & with internal access to the underground shopping/eating facilities. Also very close to the Cruise terminal for those sailing away from here. Staff were friendly & helpful,

Impressive lobby. We went there for a hockey game and it was great. The room was nice but the view we had was not to good. Montreal is not that beautiful. This hotel is ideally located to attractions, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are well appointed, and staff are very friendly and accomodating. This was our home base for a day trip, nice business lounge area. Would stay again.

Eight of us took a weekend trip to Montreal from Vermont. We had four rooms, and were all very happy with the accommodations. The staff at The Queen Elizabeth is fantastic! We really enjoyed being an elevator ride away from the Underground City. You do not need to speak any french in this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great we were close to everything. The room was a little small, but the beds were very comfortable. We liked the fact that you could connect to everything from underneath the hotel. There were great shops and dining options right there. the spa services were also good.
