Good: large room (404), large bathroom, great water pressure, appeared clean, convenient location, pet friendly, polite and friendly staff. Bad: room smelled awful, like a mix of old smoke and whatever was used to cover it up. Ugly: old furniture, institutional concrete balcony that overlooked a parking lot, had to step over drop cloths, painting and construction items in the... More

We spent 2 nights in town for Cirque du Soleil and the Habs-Sens game March 22nd and 23rd. In the past we have stayed at the Marriott and Le Crystal, among a few other hotels. The service at de la Montagne was superior in every way. Our concierge, Daniel, was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. We... More

What a great hotel! Location, one block from ste Catherine's st, was perfect. Accommodations were wonderful, comfy bed, great water pressure, lots of counter space in the bathroom and very sound proof. Front reception, doormen and help at our meeting, staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you. Then there's the turn down service with the yummy chocolates, such a... More

We stayed in a contemporary room and it was definitely worth the extra. The room was virtually brand new with modern styling. The location of this hotel is also a huge benefit, St. Catherines less than a minute away, backs on to Crescent, the Bell Centre a 5 minute walk, Old Montreal and St Laurent close by. The rooftop bar... More

We were there this past weekend (Feb. 17/12) for the weekend. This location does not get any better if you go there for shopping (right at the corner), drinking in the hotel, and restaurants in the hotel. It's not meant to go and enjoy a quiet evening with your spouse. This place moves all the time. That's why we like... More

I just stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend on a visit fom Vancouver and i was NOT impressed, we first got into our room which was musty smelling with damp sticky floors the bathtub was dirty and the room smelled. While we sat in the lounge that night for a drink there was a number of prostitutes and people... More

This hotel was a surprising find thru Hotwire. It is advertised as a 4 star, which it deserves for level of service and amenities. However, if I would not have paid full price.I would choose a more modern and updated hotel for the$200/night. We paid half that, which made it only $20 more than the cheapest hotels which mentioned bed... More
