What a stay in Montreal ! Immense room, very clean, adorable crew. Very helpful and definitely taking care of their customers. I loved (!!) having my beakfast in their restaurant room, when the sun warmed me up through the windows. Magic moment. Will be back ! Thank you !

We enjoyed a three-night stay at Auberge de La Fontaine. We highly recommend this hotel, and already have, to family and friends. Beyond being a charming and well located place, the entire staff were memorably kind and helpful. Our room on the third floor overlooked the park. It was light, quiet, clean, central air conditioned, with a comfortable queen-sized bed, desk, small refrigerator, and roomy bathroom. Go for the buffet breakfast. It was a great start to the day, and included any number of fresh and varied food choices. The neighborhood streets felt safe and friendly, with lots of walkers and bikers and sidewalk flower gardens. We hope to return someday.

This is my second visit to this lovely hotel. Rooms vary a bit but all include the space and necessities needed. And the rooms are serviced each day so your bed is made up when you return from your day’s activities - something you don’t see much anymore. Staff is friendly; Guislane provides a friendly start to the day with a breakfast buffet. I would speak English to the staff; my girlfriend spoke French - everyone speaks both languages. Nearby are restaurants, a bike touring company, a park across the street. We had a wonderful holiday and would go back without hesitation.

Great location. It's across the street from a nice park and is one block away from Fritz bike tour company, which is a nice activity. The hotel staff were masters of hospitality. Stored our luggage before we checked in, good travel advice, even free snacks. Our room was clean and cool, with comfortable bedding etc. I would be glad to stay here again.

Wonderfully located across the park and walkable to the most entertaining Mont Royal area with its lively streets, restaurants, markets and bakeries. We easily had access to all other attractions, such as the Old City, Gardens, art galleries by Uber, subway and shared bikes! Even biked to Sainte Helen’s island for a relaxing outing. The staff, especially Tarik and Christopher, provided us with such care and excellent service. Helpful in every way. The room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. We traveled from the Washington DC area and Highly recommend this hotel to others.

A perfect haven in Montreal! I've lost track of the number of my visits here. All of the staff is wonderful and helpful. The manager, Tarik. Is the best hotel manager I've encountered. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, include a coffeemaker and fridge - guests can use the kitchenette. Breakfast is very good. The location - near two metro stations, in the midst of the Plateau and next to beautiful Parc La Fontaine - is perfect.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed four nights at the Auberge in September. Tarik, Daniel and Serge were all very helpful and caring. The Auberge is just across the street from a pretty park and two blocks away from Mont Royal Avenue, which is loaded with a hip and diverse group of shops and eateries. I also liked that rather than being in a business district, it's in a residential area, so you can get a peek into how the locals live. Lots of young families. An excellent continental breakfast was provided, and the rooms are clean and well taken care of. We'll be back!

We were in Room 3, a bit small but fine otherwise. Breakfast was typically European, with breads, croissants, fruits, meats, and cheeses, tho the first morning all the meats and cheeses were gone and were not replenished (I didn't know we were supposed to get them so I didn't ask). Service was excellent and the location was very convenient.

Stayed two nights in Executive Suite overlooking Park La Fontaine. Morning coffee on the large deck and cocktails in the late afternoon while watching the cyclists bike by and the action in the park. If you like to walk, like we do, nice walk through the park and streets to Old Montreal. Mornings serve up a European Breakfast for the start of the day. There are only three parking spots, the remaining are on the street. When we arrived we were provided with one of these spots which was great. The staff were all great. Our first time but will be back.

On my recent, very difficult visit to Montreal - car died, I had a bad back - I stayed at Auberge de la Fontaine. The room was very comfortable and clean but the staff, especially Tarik, were absolutely wonderful, kind and helpful. Most highly recommended - beautiful location, elegant, comfy and clean, truly great people. Thank you, AdLF! ❤️
