It has been quite a few time we have had the pleasure of staying at the Jardin d'Antoine: we did the most luxiourious suites to the standard king size bed room; everytime, it is great! The location is fabulous, in the middle of the quartier latin (ask for a room that isn't on Saint-Denis, although the windows are 'double vitrage... More

This location is very handy to the subway and also "Vieux Montreal". The staff was extremely hospitable. When my daughter injured her toe on a chair with metal coming through the upholstery, the staff was there within in 3 minutes to replace the chair. We travelled with a friend, who had never been to Montreal, and this property with its... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. We are happy you liked your stay with us enjoying our location, our staff and the quaintness of the place. Our quick reaction with the chair incident was totally normal. We do room inspection but it seems, this time, we have missed this little (hard to see) but... More

Spent two nights here. Hotel is centrally located, easy walking distance to many points of interest and shopping. Vibrant area of Montreal. Our room was on the street level, clean, quiet, albeit small. Breakfast was good with options for GF diets (scrambled eggs, fuit, yogourt, cheese, meat). Would recommend re. value and convenience.

Spent 3 nights with the family over New Year's (2 adults + 2 young adults) in the Jr Suite on the top floor (room 32 if I'm not mistaken). The hotel looks run down on the outside, the inside for me was a little too dark, not my favorite choice of colors (burgundy and dark teal). The bedroom also felt... More

this hotel is nicely decorated. Europeen style B&B. Great location in the Latin Quarters, abundance in Restaurants, Theaters, Bars and very Close to the old Montreal. Great for a first visit MONTREAL.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were great, it had a great location, included breakfast buffet which was simple but good, our room was pretty good and well priced (especially considering the location). Building is a bit old but it adds to the charm!

Although we had to wait quite a while to check in while the agent was on the phone, we found this hotel to be a good choice. Arrived very tired and a bit wet on a rainy day, We chose a "budget room" which was located outside the main building. It was small and looked exactly like the online picture.... More

Spend a week in Montreal staying at Jardin d'Antoine in a standard room taking advantage of third nights at a reduced rate. Room was large enough, very clean and well-designed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Local beers and wine available. Breakfast included Fairmont bagels and scrambled eggs. Usually walked to restaurants--including BoullionBilk, a special treat--and museums. The Auberge is... More

We chose this small hotel because of its location and reasonable price and were not disappointed. True, it did not have an elevator and it was strangely configured (we had to step outside on the second floor to reach our room), but the breakfast was plentiful and tasty with hot and cold choices; the room was quiet, comfortable and large... Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. It is very pleasant to read ! Some rooms are, in fact, accessible through our exterior corridors (as described on our web site) There is only one 24/7 staffed entrance to the hotel. We thank you again. We look forward to welcome you back. Best regards Marc-André Ladouceur Manager and co-owner More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
