Is much larger than it looks from the street. Warm greeting from all of the innkeepers. They are there to help you have a great stay. They have answers, suggestions, recommendations and a great crew. Breakfast was delicious EVERY day. Healthy choices as well as sinfully great croissants! Our room had a jetted tub. When we woke up the second... More

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Montreal and wanted to try an Auberge. I like the fact that this place only has 25 rooms. My room was on the 1st floor and had one queen bed, one single bed, a full small bathroom with shower and bath. The floor is wood, which I like a lot compared... More

I have been looking for hotel room with spa bath (jacuzzi) for our honeymoon weekend to impress my newly wed wife. It was hard due to most of hotels do not have enough pictures to give me a sense what I'm paying for. So I have picked 'suite' room in this hotel, as at least I saw what I'm getting... More

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews here. It is on Rue St Denis between Sherbrooke and Ontario St. Close to many restaurants, bars, depanneurs and the Berri/Uqam Metro station. The hotel was once an apartment building and was converted to a hotel. Our room was nicely sized and appointed. Comfortable queen sized bed. A sitting area with sofa... More

Great location between 2 metro stations. In and amongst some decent restaurants and on a fun street, and the staff were friendly and helpful in their suggestions. The breakfast was filling, and the breakfast staff were so friendly and polite. Air conditioner worked well (it was so hot in July when we went), and the beds and pillows were comfortable... More

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms with air conditioning. A nice, light buffet breakfast each morning. It's located right on Rue St. Denis so you are close to many shops and restaurants and 2 metro stations. Within walking distance to Old Montreal and many other sights. Hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful... More

The hotel is within walking distance from the bus terminal where the airport bus stops, and 2 metro stations (one takes you to the via rail train station). Being in the Latin quarter, there are many eateries and pubs around it, the neighbourhood felt safe even late at night. Plus I stayed during Quebec national day and the parade was... More

We stayed for three nights at the Auberge le Jardin d’Antoine in June and were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the accommodation. They seemed to have put a lot of thought into how to make your stay good and comfortable. We opted for a budget room but it was not cramped. There were bedside lamps, a table and... More

The room was great and so was the breakfast. Unfortunately, the staff was misinformed ( please read lied) about the parking situation during a very busy weekend. We were told that we did not need a vignette to put on the dash of my car when I parked my car at a nearby parking lot. The next morning my car... More

We recently stayed here for the jazz festival. The property is located close to the bus station and the Metro. We purchased cards for the Metro at the airport upon arriving. This is very convenient since the bus service and the subway are connected with one card. Very efficient system. The Hotel is kept very clean and the staff are... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
