We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. My wife and I stayed with our two children in one of their junior suites. It worked out perfectly. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had a Murphy bed in the sitting room which was perfect. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety including fresh croissants and bagels. The... More

It's a small hotel, kind of old outside, but inside of the room it's clean, cozy and warm. We were in a double bedroom room, we thought there will be a lot of noise, but for me was a surprise that nothing inside. Price is good and include breakfast. Better if you find to go out at night, there's a... More

Our trip to Montreal was to celebrate a special birthday. I came across this hotel by chance - it is a lovely retreat just up the street from the Just for Laughs Theatre. We stayed in a room on the second floor just outside the main house along a little balcony. We heard absolutely no noise from any other suite... More

I am staying in a "suite" which is a bedroom with a seperate living room and bathroom up on the third floor in the back of the building. The frontroom has a small table and chairs, loveseat, small fridge, TV, armoire with hanger and drawers, and a murphy bed. All the windows have blinds and drapes and each room has... More

I stayed in this hotel in April 2015, The good points are: - It's very cozy, - Staff are super nice and helpful, - The hotel is clean, - Breakfast was good, however, as a vegan there was not much choice (fruit and jam) but I guess for a non-vegan, there was plenty of choices. - It is well located... I stayed here with my mother and we both enjoyed our stay. The hallways and the main lobby look perhaps a tiny bit worn and cluttered (but comfortable). The reception staff were extremely nice and friendly. When they showed us to our room, we were suprised how big it was. We had our own little foyer! The bathroom was HUGE... More

My husband and I and our adult daughter had a very pleasant stay. The location is perfect for just about anything you would want to do in Montreal. We had the upper suite with the murphy bed, and it was so quiet and perfect for our needs. We had a separate bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub which closed off with... More

Nothing to complain about here!!! Room- small, tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet. Bed was hard but comfortable. Own AC unit in room. Bathroom was again small but clean and functional. Hairdryer in BR. Coffee maker in room. Breakfast (which was included)- perfect! Fresh fruit, baked goods, breads, cereals, yogourt, eggs, tea/coffee/juice. Nice little dining area inside and outside (seasonal).... More

It has been quite a few time we have had the pleasure of staying at the Jardin d'Antoine: we did the most luxiourious suites to the standard king size bed room; everytime, it is great! The location is fabulous, in the middle of the quartier latin (ask for a room that isn't on Saint-Denis, although the windows are 'double vitrage... More

This location is very handy to the subway and also "Vieux Montreal". The staff was extremely hospitable. When my daughter injured her toe on a chair with metal coming through the upholstery, the staff was there within in 3 minutes to replace the chair. We travelled with a friend, who had never been to Montreal, and this property with its... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. We are happy you liked your stay with us enjoying our location, our staff and the quaintness of the place. Our quick reaction with the chair incident was totally normal. We do room inspection but it seems, this time, we have missed this little (hard to see) but... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
