Had a wonderful time at the Omni in Montreal. Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. They made our visit to Montreal very pleasant! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the local attractions and helped us find the best restaurants and walking tours.

Fantastic location, relaxing stay, friendly staff, exceptionally clean room, great views from the room, expensive parking, odd toilet paper placement. We stayed here for a week while we explored the city. We spent most days walking and using the metro and and it ended up being the perfect location.

My wife and I stayed at the Omni for three days in March while on vacation. Our standard room was nice and big, with a comfortable bed, a desk and a love seat at the foot of the bed, which was a nice touch for watching TV. The location is perfect if you want to be close to downtown without... More

The Omni has become my home away from home in Montreal. As a McGill parent, I stay there frequently and the staff goes out of its way to make sure that my room is quiet, clean and replete with the amenities I have requested in advance (like the perfect pillow). On my last visit, the room became an alternative studying... More

Kind of expensive considering the quality. Very close to everything downtown which was great. Nothing spectacular. For the same price you could go to a few other nicer hotels. Quality of food in room service was poor.

Good hotel, very spacious room. Very clean, marble bathroom. Beds were too soft. Easy check-in and check-out. Complimentary fruit and cumber/lemon water in lobby. Concierge provided complimentary umbrellas for us during rain storm! Close to walk downtown and to Mount Royal.

Very nice hotel - very friendly and helpful staff, great location. We visit Montreal often, and have tried other places, but always come back to the Omni. Lots of restaurants nearby, as is the underground (convenient in winter) and several museums.

I really appreciate this hotel as my home away from home when on business in Montreal. The quality/price ratio is excellent and the staff are friendly yet expediant. It is a short walk from the city core yet well situated with regards to noise noise.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
