Le Cantlie is a converted apartment building. It has huge rooms, with a small kitchenette in every suite. Great downtown location, at a very reasonable price. Their buffet breakfast is a bit pricey for what you get, but you can always have breakfast in your room with the kitchen. Overall, great value. More

The hotel is excellenty located, close to both restaurants, McGill, shopping and transporation. The rooms are really old-fashioned, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the place is clean ! Still, a renovation would not be a bad idea, but then I guess the rates would change. More

Stayed here in late November for 2 nights.... I booked one of the larger rooms with a pull out sofa and separate room with King Bed as additional friends were joining. We have stayed here twice with the family (incl. two teenagers) over the past two years. Opted for suite with bedroom (2 doubles) separate from sitting area which has a fold out couch. Great rooms, great location right downtown. Rates were great for what we got, nice room, comfortable bed. Little kitchenette in the room which was nice but we didn't use it. Washroom was fine and very clean. Staff were nice. But...the rooms were quiet from the hallway but when someone ran the water in the room above you heard it. More

Spent last weekend there for a conference. The room was clean. The bathroom fixtures are a little old, but everything is in order. The beds were extra comfortable with plump mattress cover and feather pillows. Underground parking with valet service (extra fee, 23$ per day.
