I stayed here for 7 nights on a work trip and found the staff to be extremely attentive, always willing to assist. As the hotel was built some years ago the room was large with a comfortable bed, large TV, work space and lounge chair and ottoman. There was a coffee maker in the room but no kettle - you... More

Really impressed, loved the cozy wine bar and great downtown location. Staff are super friendly, restaurant is great! Just a bit confusing getting to rooms but after a day you get the hang of it...excellent set up for meetings and symposiums. Hope to come back!

i have stayed in most of the centre ville hotels, and this one wins for me again. Location is perfect and in the middle of everything. Attached to a mall should you need anything, rooms are nice sized and i think a good value for the $$$. Shower is a little annoying jets of water, that is about the only improvement... More

the hotel is a part of shopping mall complex and nicely situated in heart of montreal. the staff is friendly and helpful. it offers average room, nothing special but nothing particularly bad. it does offer better than average pool. breakfast spread is very good for the US/canada stardard. and the club lounge was decent as well.

I recently enjoy 4 nights at the Hyatt Regency. The hotel was large. The front desk staff very efficient. My room was quite spacious, American standard room, with a comfy bed and good work space. The real difference maker at this hotel - the room attendant. I don't think I've ever met a more gracious, enjoyable housekeeper in all my... More

The Hyatt Regency is conveniently located for business, old Montreal and Place des Arts. The hotel is starting to show some wear but it's clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and well arranged for working. Service is friendly and obliging. Breakfast buffet is a cut above most hotels but there is no breakfast menu if you want to eat... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
