My family and I stayed at Hyatt Regency in August 2014. It was okay. The rooms were clean, but basic. Our room had 2 full sized beds which is smaller than my husband and I are used to. There is no free internet access in the rooms, which I found irritating ($15/day for access). I have not stayed in a... More

My partner and I arrived on a Friday and are both recreational runners. We noticed that the hotel offered a run with a few of their staff members as guides. As it turns out the run was 13K, half up the side of a mountain and then back down. The hotel staff that led this run, Gary, Claude, Philipe, and... More

This is my second stay in a Hyatt hotel and I would say they are getting better. The entrance to the hotel is kind of odd and confusing for a new traveler to the area. The reception is on the second floor by elevator. Room is ok. Not high end as you would expect but I they were renovating when... More

We were in town in July for a conference and ended up loving this hotel for its perfect location. We could walk to the conference center underground so that the days that it rained we were perfectly dry and not lugging around rain gear. But was even better was that we were right a the main stage area for a... More

This hotel is located right on the corner facing the main stage of the Montreal Jazz Fest. In 2014 the adjacent stage was along the street between the hotel and the modern art museum, so it was great venue for mobilizing between artists and taking breaks in the room or lobby (free orange slice water, woo). The lobby is located... More

this hotel is slowly but surely improving in appearance. they have a nice updated lobby and lounge area . they have changed the carpets in the hallways. it looks much fresher . the rooms still need some improvement though. still have shabby looking chairs an cushions etc... and the bathrooms need some paint and fresh grout. I have found that... More

It's location is awkward in that it is buried in another building. If walking it is more of a pain that it should be to get in. Once out of the building, the location is good though for shopping and eating options. The fitness area is decent. Inside it is nice but the service was awful in the lounge area... More

Stayed during Ocheaga festival although I wasn't attending. Long line for check in but Audrey on reception very apologetic. Room was great. Didn't hear any noise which other people have commented on. Pool and surrounding area are a great bonus during the summer months. Didn't have breakfast or sample the restaurant. At check out Claude was also very helpful. Ideal... More

I stayed in this hotel in September 2013. Nice location, close to several shopping centre, parks and the convention centre. Large clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was not included and rather expensive. Altogether a nice hotel for business purposes.

Have stayed here many times in the past, the location is right in the heart of the Jazz Festival and convenient to the Old part of town as well as the underground shopping and the subway system. The only aspect that detracts is that the Hotel books Jazz Festival events that compromise the use of the facility for paying guests.... More
