We paid $120 for this room and it was a great purchase. This was our first time in Montreal and we wanted to see as much as the city as we possibly could in 24 hours. Unfortunately, we did not have a car as we flew in and were continuing on with our travels. This hotel is in the perfect... More

I was very pleased with this hotel. My room had a king sized bed and was on the 6 the floor. The bed was very comfortable, firm, but not hard. The TV was new, but the picture a bit fuzzy on dome channels. The bathroom was new. The room had plenty of space around the bed and even included a fridge.... More

The hotel is located close to a stop of the 747-Airport-Bus, to St. Catherine Street (night-life part of it: 5 minutes walk; shopping-part 10-15 minutes walk). It's an older hotel, everything is working but some places look somewhat dark and some spots would need a renovation. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean - that's what matters most.... Located next to the GAY area of Montreal, where they have closed off the street for Gay parades, and music, it may not be for every family. I did not know the area before booking. I got the top 10th floor facing the street, and it was quiet with the A/C running on high. It seemed to be a popular... More

I'm not a luxury hotel person, but this place was just bad, especially for the price I paid. The sheets had holes in them, the air conditioner rattled constantly and drove us insane. The whole place just looked and felt really dated and run down. The rooms feel cramped and dingy. Their lot was full, so we paid for parking... More

This is a great place, anyone whining is obviously really finicky. Stayed here for 4 nights prior to the Heavy MTL festival and I wish I would've stayed the entire time as the place the festival arranged was rubbish. The restaurant downstairs serves a great breakfast for a great price. The Berri-UQAM metro station is literally a 2 minute walk as... More

Totally enjoyed my stay at the Lord Berri Hotel... The room was clean and pleasant. The staff at the Lord Berri are all very friendly and helpful. It's location is perfect. It puts you in walking distance from many downtown attractions as well as a two minute walk to the Metro station. From there, you can get to any location... More

Paid 224$ (tax in) +22$ parking for one night. This was an Expedia "deal". Garbage in the parking garage. Claustrophobic room with 6-7 foot ceilings. View of a decrepid alleyway and garbage dumpster, no balcony. Room seems to have been "renovated" with updated cabinets, but for $224 you gotta be kidding me! Last time I paid that kind of money... The location was great and the room was pretty average. Our biggest two complaints are that the air conditioner was loud and bad quality, and the wifi is incredibly slow. Early check-in is impossible during busy tourist seasons. You can store your luggage for free but any guest and staff member has access to the storage room.

Although the Lord Berri is conveniently located in the Latin Quarter for tourists wanting to walk to the shopping and summer festivals on St. Catherine Street, and the quaintness of Olde Montreal, the facility itself is very dated. We rented a junior suite for a long weekend and several things didn't work; e.g. Wi-Fi connection only worked if you were... More
