We stay at this hotel in mid-August for weekend with club level room. Hotel location is steps away from 747 Airport Bus Stop, Metro station and Rue Ste Catherine shopping district. Hotel staffs are very friendly (front desk, house-keeping, the bar), which makes you feel welcome. The only recommendation I have to the hotel is if they can add some... More

Rooms well kept with great service. Received upgrade to club level. Nice free appetizers in pm and breakfast. View very nice with full service bar...all expensive in Montréal. Great downtown location.

Based on my last stay, I returned to Sheraton Centre Montreal for another one-night stay, with our 9-month old in tow this time. We were given a corner suite facing south-east, which offered a bedroom with an adjoining door that led into a living room. The bedroom was a standard size for a room, while the living room was a... Great Staff, amazing location, close to shopping and entertainment. Very close to the Bell and a GREAT steak house. the 747 bus service from the airport stops across the street and is a good option if you want to save a few dollars.

Stayed here for a bachelor party weekend, great location for party travel. Only had one rude staff member during check in but I was able to speak with the front desk management and issue was resolved. Glad I did the veiw from the club floor was great. We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Fast, really fast, elevators which are a fun to ride. The bar is nice, and the bar staff, while busy, were very nice and efficient. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the concierge desk was able to provide answers to all my... More

Positives- 1) Great location, ~10 min walk from the Montreal Central Station and a short walk to the main shopping street of St Catherine Street. 2) Our room was decently sized with great views of the surrounding area. 3) The lounge offered a bird's eye view of Montreal. Negatives- 1) Rooms a tad dated but not as bad as Sheraton... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away in Old Montreal at the Sheraton Le Centre. Lovely hotel and extremely comfortable room and bed. We had a room with SPG Club privileges and it was a very nice experience. Great breakfast and nice appetizers each afternoon. Great pool and hot tub we loved the sauna. I have stayed in Montreal many times as my brother goes to McGill university there, However this was one of my least favorite hotels that I stayed at. In the rooms they have wall unit air conditioners that are EXTREMELY noisy at night and I never got any sleep at night even with ear plugs in my ears. For a... More

We stayed there last weekend as part of a bachelor's party and love the location of this hotel. It is right off Rene Levesque Blvd only 5 minutes away from St-Catherine and Crescent streets where all the action in Montreal is. The front desk staff was very professional and very helpful as well. The rooms were vary spacious but missing... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
