Stayed for 3 nights. It's a clean, comfortable, 3 star hotel that offers good value. We picked the hotel because it is a 10 minute walk to Place des Arts and about 20 minutes to Old Montreal. The kitchen is well supplied for preparing meals. Enjoyed the free buffet breakfast. Recommend requesting a higher floor to avoid night time street... More

We stayed here for a week and were amazed at how well stocked the kitchen was. Everything you would expect a hotel with kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, wine glasses) and more (salt & pepper, soap and sponge for dishes). The room was clean, bathroom was nice, bed was comfy, great pillows, a balcony, and the small gym room looked... More

I was looking for a hotel that had a pool and was pretty central. This hotel showed up, the price was right so I booked it. We were there for 3 nights, and it would have done for much longer. it is a great place to choose to explore the city from, we walked around and used the subway system... More

We had a 1 bedroom suite which was fine for the family. Good place to stay as we were in Montreal fro 4 nights. Paid parking across the street has very tight spots and not all that practicall but it works.

I was looking for a hotel that had a pool and continental breakfast and walking distance with the train station. This hotel showed up, the price was right so I booked it. I was there only for one night but if I had to stay for longer, it is a great place to choose. A nice large size fridge and... More

Fantastic location, nice big room with all facilities for an apartment hotel. Rooms a little dated and dimly lit! Carpets a bit worn out and musty! Staff a little indifferent! Little irritants which bug you but overall a great place and fantastic location!

it's more like a condo, you have a fully equipped kitchen and there's a pool and sauna. Also I found a washer and dryer(extra cost). A grocery store and pharmacy 2 blocks from the hotel and in Quebec you can buy beer and wine at the grocery store...EVEN BETTER. You're 3 street down from St Catherine St, with all the... More

A very clean well priced hotel close to downtown and McGill university. The rooms, mine being a queen studio suite, have the added bonus of a fully equipped kitchenette which is useful for families travelling together. The included breakfast is limited to cereals, muffins, bagels and fruit but considering the price of the rooms this is more than adequate. I... More

We found this hotel through Tripadvisor. We were looking for a top location hotel with babysitting, and this place seemed well. We arrived at night, not too late. Reception lady was not very sympathetic. But did her job. Rooms are indeed big, but not very modern. We see some wall papers falling over, some rusty things. Internet was free, but... More

This is a nice basic apartment style hotel. The rooms were very clean. Good size living room, bedroom & kitchen/eating area. The bathroom was a bit small. We were there for 5 days so it was nice not to be on top of each other when we were in the room (3 people total). The lobby is quaint and they... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
