There is nothing spectacular for this hotel, so the price is reasonable. Valet parking is expensive (and if you park it yourself, you are charged each time you take the car out), and when we got our car out on the second there, there was a non-stop rattling-scraping sound! The Double tree has its plus and minus points. The plus points: 1. Rooms are large and the property is pretty well maintained. 2. The coffee maker in the room has Lavazza coffee and the amenities in the bathroom are Neutrogena. Both pretty nice and aplenty! 3. I didn't notice the hotel was under renovation. The spacious room I got was quite old and bathroom is not that clean. Beds are very comfortable. Metro sherbrooke is 2min away by walk and you can reach downtown in less than 10 min. Average price paid was 62 $ for one night. more
